Its ok”
It was quiet and comfortable but nothing special. The free breakfast was nothing special either. The price was nice. While I probably would not stay there again it's an ok place. Also they were nice enough to hold our bags after checking out so we could tour more.

Nice and quiet place”
Paolo's restaurant offers decent food. Ice cold beer. Longganisa quesadilla. Sisig. I'm a happy man.

Very good”
The hotel is a bit dated (90's design)- however well maintained. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. the food at the Pablos cafe was good but quite expensive..maybe the brewed coffee could be less expensive. Very good valet and security.. very clean!

Okay but can improve”
The free breakfast is a heartbreaker. I swear a small time inn gives a better breakfast than La Parilla.

Cheap and Convenient”
A clean, cheap and very accessible hotel in the heart of Cabanatuan City. Do not expect too much though, the plumbing works somehow and the beds do provide sleep for tired travelers. The riverside location is quaint though. Car parking is available, which is a blessing nowadays.

Wifi didn't work properly. There was only Socket and that was almost broken”
I had booked for 2 days but had to cut it short. I needed wifi badly for some urgent tasks. Room was just ok. It is some old hotel I think. Every thing was outdated. I had only almost broken socket to charge my laptop. Well if I will be in that place again, I will book some other hotel. That were all the bad things. Now, the good things. I like their staff. Very friendly. Location was good too. Nearby Five Star Bus Terminal.

Good”
The hotel doesn't have an elevator which makes it hard for senior citizens considering their rooms are located on the 2nd & 3rd floor. The furnitures need refurbishing. Beddings are worn out( my bedsheet has a hole) The staffs are good and the location is good as well.

Tourist”
Had none of the basics every Hotel room should have for it's guests. No wi-fi in the room when we stayed from the 8th of January to the 23rd this year. Only available in the Restaurant. We had to repeatedly ask Reception for the password. No drink-making equipment in the room, so that tired guests could make tea or coffee. Kettle/Cups/Sachets of tea/coffee/sugar. No Shaver Plug in the Bathroom. No Tumbler for rinsing teeth. We had to crawl under the desk to plug our phones into a socket . To re-charge our phones. One of us always has 2 pillows. When I asked for another . I was told that I would have to pay 50 pesos for it! When I asked for a 2nd cup of coffee at breakfast one morning. I was told I'd have to pay for that too! Bland food. As frequent travelers who are not 'picky'. we've stayed in many hotels. You live in a beautiful country with the friendliest people. We'll be back, but not to the La Parilla. Jonathan & Michael.

Too old, too dim. Pictures too nice.”
The hotel is much older and dimmer in reality than what the pictures convey. Price was too expensive for this type of hotel. And if the room I got is a more expensive one, then I can't imagine how the standard rooms looked like. It seriously needs renovation. Hotel has a big ballroom for and I can understand how it managed to stay on over the years given the numerous events held there. So it's probably best as an events place than as a hotel.
