Safe and quiet ”
I’ve stayed several days at rufinas and found it to be an excellent choice for the dollar. Clean rooms, hot showers and very helpful and friendly staff. A nice pool and located at the edge of town . A five minute walk to the mall and a variety of eating options. Jim from USA

The room is spacious and also the beds. The location is so near to Robinsons mall. If you need something, you can just walk going to the mall. The downside of this hotel is first the quality of the water, sometimes the water pressure is so low you cannot even use the heater. Second, there is a leak on the bidet. Third, there are mosquitos in the room. Fourth, you can only change the bedding for one bed. Fifth, the did not rug provide rugs outside of the toilet.

Our water was murky or brown after even after we let itrunning for 10 min. Was moved to supposedly more expensive room but we had to share it with a family of three. Mother Father and child. "Mr Cockroaches Family. THE STAFF WERE NICE. And the roaches are friendly. Check in at your own risk!

Cheap hotel in strategic location”
Location: beside the national highway and walking distance to Robinsons mall Staff: some are helpful while some are quite soooo serious and not even afford to smile. facilities: swimming pool is decent, food in resto are so so and kind a expensive :location of the hotel is one of the plus factor as can can easily find a bus going to airport or Davao city; just pass by the other road and you can find trike if you want to go to other places around tagum. Walking distance to Robinsons mall just 3mins walk. will recommend this hotel to friends due to price and location.

Pros •Staff in the reception are cheerful, accomodating to our requests •Walking distance to Robinson’s Place Tagum •Daily Filipino set breakfast •Near the Highway •Room aircon is good Cons •We were transfered from old building to their new building room not of the same value and without Refrigerator which was in our booking- coz the room was so old in the old building with rusty toilet... Towel are quite old too which needs to change. •After transfer to the new building, room is very dusty esp the closet •Room shower/ water supply is very slow •No toothbrush in the toiletries so better just bring your own toiletries set •Daily room housekeeping is by request only •Few varieties on Set breakfast, though there are other foods not included in the set meal •No elevator

Perfect location in Tagum”
Pros easy to find and to get to Robinsons and G Mall and downtown Tagum. Aircon Ref and TV and water heater all worked. Cons could use some updates.

I am not sure what the bad reviews are about. For about $15, I got a clean, good sized room. Some of the things are a little outdated, but c'mon you are only paying $15 with a free breakfast.

I thought this place was great. Friendly staff and very clean”
For $13 a night nothing to complain about. I heard complaints about water in shower was too hot. It was the first 3 days. What I did was leave top dial to max and bottom dial half way. Did not turn off except the gray handle for the water. After that setting it was perfect. The resturant there was excellent. The pool was awesome. Very clean. Very close to Robinsons mall. Few minute walk. I would definitely recommend. I had a great 14 day stay.

well I would have given five stars but then last night we noticed that it is not good to sleep if there is other people staying in the same floor. Really noisy :( one and second floor rooms smelled of moalt. third floor room was really nice. Big room and clean. Breakfast is Filipino style but brewed coffee is great :)

Mirrors so low that need to seat to see yourself. Curtains barely cover any light. Bedsheets so thin that all smell of matress transfers. Very poor bedding quality... Irregular housekeeping, sometimes provide towels sometimes not. Sometimes blanket sometimes not. However service is good and fast, rooms are spacious, parking is plentiful. Hotel could be great with few improvements

The location was just beside Robinson"s place however, it is so inconvenient when you plan to go to the city center. The availability of transportation is so limited that it will take you ages to get one.The room was big enough for a budget inn, and they provide you with a table that can be used as study or for some papers that need to get done. They also provide water heater, which is a plus+++ for a usual "inn". If i have my own transportation, I'd definitely come back.
