This hotel is definitely a 4 star hotel. The interior is new. Looks like newly furnished. The room size is big. My room have got a bathtub and washlet. The bed is comfortable. Room was clean. The only thing is I realise some how there is a bad smell from the lift to the lobby. As I was quite rush and I did not use their facilities. The location is good, just 7 mins walk to big city, the biggest shopping mall in Hsin Chu. I will stay here again.

It is an okay place -- not great not bad”
The location is solid -- very close to a large shopping area. The rooms are mediocre at best -- bathrooms aren't the cleanest, bed is quite hard, but the room is a good size. There is no sunlight in many of the rooms. The facilities are mediocre and it costs 200 TWD to enter the gym each time. Great place to stay if you're low maintenance and have no expectations.

Professional and caring staff. Good location. Room was fine but bathroom needs maintenance. Ac/heater was hit or miss. Room’s window was against a wall/ another building so really wasn’t a window. Loud random beeping in the hallway in the middle of the night daily.

Can not provide enough parking space. Employee can not arrange the good solutions. You have to waste your time to waiting for the shuttle bus and transportation time. Do not choose this hotel when you visit this lovely city.

BEST of the BEST service - beats 5-star hotels”
The staff of this hotel is AMAZING ! The best service I've experienced so far. The lobby staff always greet you with a smile. They anticipate your needs the minute you step into the lobby. There is this particular guy who is just superb. When it rained, and by the time I stepped out of the lobby elevator, he would rush out to the lobby front door to hand me an umbrella. When I return to the hotel, he would ensure to get the elevator. Their service seemed very Japanese style with great courtesy. I LOVE Lakeshore staff. I'm not sure how the manager trained the staff, but they are just so attentive to guest needs. I don't see such service even in W hotel or some of the Japanese hotels. Great job, Lakeshore !!
