Perfect place to explore Hoi An”
Lama homestay is about 15-20 mins cycle (bikes/scooters provided by the staff) or 5 min taxi (60-70000 VND) outside of Hoi An. Situated in a small village with rice paddy fields on either side, a well kept garden and small, clean swimming pool. Run by some beautiful Vietnamese ladies who will cook up an awesome meal of local specialities for breakfast, recommend the best restaurants and organise all your local tours/transport to the airport/cooking school etc. The homestay is well maintained and clean, beds are comfortable, rooms serviced daily. There are a few local restaurants should you not want to venture out too far. Wish we could have stayed longer and would definitely stay again if we were in the Hoi An area.

Peaceful and relaxing yet biking distance to everything!”
After six nights in Hoi An's old town, my boyfriend and I wanted a break from the crowds. We chose Lama Homestay for its serene and relaxing location...and ended up extending our stay by five nights for a total of 12! The location is very strategic...15 minute bike to Old Town (via easy main roads or beautiful rice fields), seven minute bike to the buzzing Cua Dai road with little cafes, hip Vietnamese restaurants, a sushi restaurant, a bakery, an ATM, MiniMarts, massage places and more. In the same amount of time you can get to Cua Dai beach - though erosion has sadly damaged the closest beachfront, just head down the road five more minutes and you'll get to beautiful Hidden Beach. A bit longer and you'll be at the new popular beach area, An Bang. We loved our delicious breakfasts every morning, friendly staff, laundry service and bicycle rentals. On sunny days we relaxed by the nice clean pool. Overlooking the rice fields was the most relaxing way to spend our time in Hoi An!

Lama Homestay Hoi An is a good hotel with a swimming pool. The room is clean, spacious and comfortable with a good view. The hotel is surrounded by the rice field and peaceful. You can see the birds sometimes. It is absolutely value for money. If you take bicycle, it is a 20-minute ride the ancient city.

Absolutely amazing homestay in a beautiful setting, run by beautiful people. While visiting HoiAn staying at Lama Homestay is a must! The rooms overlook peaceful rice fields, with the occasional buffalo making an appearance. The rooms are very large and very clean, comparable...if not even better than most 5 star hotels I have stayed in. Everything in the rooms are new and designed beautifully. On top of all this, the two sisters who run the homestay and their family are such lovely people! You really couldn't find nicer and more hopeful and caring people!

If you don't mind commute a little bit outside of Hoi An's Downtown, this would be the most fantastic place for your trip! The location is amazing. So peaceful, local, and dreamy that you will forget the fact that you're tourists here. Facilities of the homestay can easily compare with those in 4 stars hotel! Most of all, the Staff and Owner were friendly, dedicated and always made us feel like home! Breakfast is all homemade and extremely delicious! Overall, this is one of the best choices in Hoi An, look no further!

Will Return”
My stay was based on a recommendation of a friend and the reality was even better than my expectations. The location is about a 10 -15 ride to the ancient city and probably the same to the beach. I rented a motorbike for a couple of days at $6 or $7 a day. The first day I stayed at Lama because the welcome was so nice and the pool was beckoning. The staff are lovely, the room was great, and the food was very nice. Loved it.

+ Chambres très grandes et lumineuses, deux grandes fenêtres pour admirer le paysage + Grande piscine pour se détendre après une journée en ville + Personnel qui peut vous organisez vos déplacements. Nous avons pris un scooter depuis l’hôtel Lama pour nous rendre à Hue et nos bagages ont étés transférés à Hue - La gérante parfois trop stressante et envahissante. Elle insiste beaucoup pour tenter de vendre ses activités et commerces (nous avons sentis qu’elle nous imposait ses choix).

Love staying here ”
This is our 3rd time staying here. The staff are great and very helpful. We enjoy that it is a bit out of the way . If you want something with walking distance of the strip or the beach, this isn't the place. But if you are looking for a relaxing retreat where you can get in and out of town in 10 min this is a great place. The main beach is only about 10 min from the Lama. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. If you need something let them know and they will do their best to help you out. Thanks for being great hosts and we'll see you next time!

This place is nothing short of perfection for our family trip. The paddy field view surrounding the villa is beautiful. The location is not exactly in town but fret not as they have free bicycle available. They helped us to rent motorbikes and called for taxi as well. Cleanliness is definitely good and room is spacious. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Phung and her team accomodated to all our request and were very attentive to all our needs especially since we were travelling with a toddler. Their hospitality is definitely top notch and one of the best we have ever experienced. A gem for sure!

The rooms are wonderful, so big and spacey and clean. Beautiful balconies opening on to rice paddies. The pool is great and very calm. The two sisters who run the place are so kind and lovely. It's a lovely bike ride in to town or a very short taxi, so you can enjoy the buzz of town and then come back to a peaceful bit of tranquility.

Séjour parfait”
Un havre de paix, chambres grandes ,lumineuses et très confortables. Personnel aux petits soins , surtout Peanut et Sandy qui parlent très bien anglais. Situé entre la vieille ville et la plage, on est au calme mais en vélo tout est facilement accessible. La plage la plus proche, Cau Dai, a été emportée par l’erosion!

Jeunes pousses de riz ( Lama ) Homestay . ”
Tout a été dit et nous confirmons , Super . Ce petit complexe de 8 chambres , dont 4 à l’etage pour les séjours prolongés, sont chacune placée à un angle , donc 2 baies vitrées , avec regard sur les rizières . Cet homestay, chambres d’hotes en fait , est à 3 , voire 4 kms du centre ville , pas aisé à rejoindre à pied . Reste le prêt des vélos , le taxi , ou la location d’un des scooters de la maison ( 6 dollars ) , état moyen , retros pas terrible , assurance ??? Par contre , sommes au calme , donc , du pour , et du contre . Nous , couple un peu âges , avons adoré l’emplacement , pouvoir marcher au bord des rizières ,( belle couleur en février ) , et nous déplacer en scoot . À retenir ce proverbe : Le Vietnamien plante le riz , le Cambodgien le regarde pousser , et le Laotien l’ecoute .......

Supernettes Homestay”
Trotz Dauerregen, hatten wir eine tolle Zeit im Lama Homestay, ruhig gelegen inmitten der Reisfelder und nur ein paar Minuten vom Zentrum Hoi An entfernt. Die Familie ist supernett und hat uns sogar vor 6:00 Uhr morgens ganz freundlich bei unserer verspäteten bzw. verfrühten Anreise begrüsst. Nachdem wir nochmal kurz geschlafen haben, gab es ein ein ziemlich leckeres Frühstücks-Omelette. Nach drei Wochen Backpacking wurde auch unsere Wäsche zum ersten Mal richtig sauber gewaschen. Die Familie bietet einen sehr guten und auch günstigen Autotransfer bzw. Abholung vom/zum Flughafen Da Nang. Diesen haben wir dankend genutzt. Sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes Homestay ”
Wir haben uns im Lama Homestay sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal war super lieb und freundlich:) Wir fanden es sehr nett, dass wir aufgrund der Streichung unseres Fluges eine Nacht länger bleiben könnten. Die Lage des homestay ist gut. Mit dem Roller oder auch Fahrrad kann man das Zentrum und auch den Strand in ca. 10 Minuten erreichen. Wir können das homestay weiterempfehlen:) Danke für die schöne Zeit.
