Value for money, convenient, friendly staff”
Location: Distance from the airport is about approximately 30 minutes drive. We bought taxi coupon price was exactly 200,000VD. When the taxi stopped, we were so confused and thought he brought us to the wrong place. Actually, once you reach Lee Van Tho street, you need to walk further inside about 20 meters. There's a bus stop about 100m from the hotel, which we took bus 103 once to Han Thong Thay market (just 1km away; 20mins walk) Facilties: Lan Anh hotel provide basic facilities i.e. 1 bottled water per person, soap, shampoo, towel, a set of toothbrush and toothpaste. There was no hot water but fret not, the weather was so hot, the tap water came out hot too. If you need them to replenish the items, just let them know and they'll send it to your room straight away. Peace and quiet: We were given a room at ground floor. We basically cannot hear noises from the streets (trust me, you wouldn't want that), however noises like people talking and motorbikes starting up was quite loud. I didn't mind though as I was too tired and slept through the noise. Food around: This is the best. There's food stalls and shops all around. You definitely need to try each type of food from each shop. There's also a cafe we visit daily. Staff: Staff are excellent. They're friendly and they try their best to help us. We'd stop at their counter everyday to ask about which bus goes to where and what tour company gove the cheapest rate, etc. When they couldn't understand, they'll even google the word so they can serve us better. So happy with their service! Cleanliness: I'd give them a 3/5. Our room was cleaned daily, but not up to our expectations. The hair on the floor and bathroom was not completely cleaned up. We didnt realize our hair in the bathroom was not remove until the 3rd day when water started pooling haha. Also, be warned, we found 3 live huge cockroaches roaming around the room and 1 even got into my bag. Conclusion: Excellent place for those on budgets!!

HCMC is very busy but lan anh was easy for our taxi driver to find as it is off a main street with many amazing restaurants in the area. Lan anh is situated at the end of a side street so even though you can walk to the many shops around it is very quiet and you can have a great nights sleep which is exactly what you will need after a late night of party in this vibrant city.

Best place to stay in Go Vap District ”
This place is the best in Go Vap. Price is cheap, facilities is decent, clean and good for the price. It gives you all basic things you need Staff is nice and helpful. Highly recommend if you stay for long period.

Nice, Quiet, Clean, very friendly”
Really good hotel. Clean and smart, no street noise so quiet night sleep, friendly helpful staff and willing to help . It's far from tourist center One small problem, If you want you will rent motobike here for 100 000 VND per day (around 5$) or go to by bus about 0.25$. You will have room with AC, TV and fridge only for 9$ per day Clean room. I'm really like patio here

We booked this as a last minute option as our flight was later in the evening. For $14.00 Aus it was exceptional value. We were curious as this was the first 2 star hotel we stayed in. To our surprise it was just as nice as some of the 3 stars we stayed in. The only negative comment is the shower shares the same area as the toilet, so when you shower the entire toilet gets wet. The upside, what do you expect for $14.00 and yes I would stay there again. It also has situated in a very different part of the city which has a very pleasant feel about it. Markets, food venders and bakeries are right on your doorstep.

Budget in the burbs”
Lovely helpful staff Quiet and safe location up a small laneway off the road. Rooms were neat and well layed out and of a good size. Is quite a distance from the main tourist district but that is not necessarily a bad thing at all. We chose this hotel as had business to conduct nearby, afterwards we used it as a base to explore the local area and catch bus into the central business district. You will most likely be the only foreigners out this way, and therefore somewhat of a novelty to the locals who don't generally see many westerners. Great experience

Rooms need to be refurbished”
The hotel is at the end of a small alley, not too far from the airport but 45 min away from the city center. The hotel looks good overall: inner yard, balconies, quiet area. The staff is very friendly and the owner speaks english. The bathroom was clean, and the decoration unique: women-in-underwear tiles, like it or not. But the bedroom was just fitting Vietnamese standards: wine or blood marks on the walls and on the bed frame, as well as hand writings on the bed.. In addition the bed sheets are not white but brown, so there is no way to know if they are clean or not.

Neat place but quite far from city”
This hotel located about 40 minutes away from the main city. However, the price offered is reasonable and cheap. The staffs also try so hard to help us even though we have communication constraint. Well done.

Affordable and no frills accomodation”
Stayed rm305 balcony room. 9 nights. It is out of the way for most tourists but very affordable for budget longer stay business travellers at 8 to 9 USD per night.. Rooms were fairly weathered but were cleaned daily. Bed not as comfortable as I had hoped but will do. Air con could use some servicing. Hot water is good although would take some time to get to you. Hotel situated next to an elementary school so it may be a little noisy during the morning, but it is relatively quiet during the night as it is situated at the end of a Hem away from the main road. Guarded motorcycle parking. Plenty of food stores around during the day and night. A short motorcycle ride to the Hanh Thong Tay day and night market@Quang Trung. Staff could manage some English. Will stay again if not found a longer term accomodation as it was easy to get to my work place just outside of Saigon without having to deal with D1 rush hour traffic.

Hotel was not bad if you want a budget hotel with balcony view but it's quite warm at night when relaxing at balcony, internet connection was quite fast but sometime unable to connect, aircon not really cold in the morning maybe that's why they have fan, under the door at the balcony there's a gap try to find something to fill up the gap if not you will see crockroach when you wake up. overall for a budget hotel still ok.

It meets what you need staff were nice”
Near airport, a good place to stay overnight. It's a pass compared to others in the area. The area feels a little "red light" ish at night, but we found great places to eat out. We also had a great balcony in our room and the price was right. We felt secure in the hotel, and outside is really safe as well though it might not feel like that to a first time Vietnam traveler.

The room was satisfactory, the cleaning was satisfactory, but the staff need to smile a little more and make you feel welcome… It’s almost like you’re a stranger and they are wondering why are you there… Make the gas feel wanted and make the guest feel like he wants to come again…

Rooms smell like cigarettes ”
We had asked for early check in and it did not happen and after a night bus all we wanted was to get in shower and sleep. After waiting for a few hours luckily someone checked out. We took the public bus to the city center it only coast 6000 dong but took 45 min
