the entrance to the hotel is a nice manicured garden,the view at the reception is lake windermere, the staff is always smiling and wonderful , professional, breakfast selection decent, but quality really really good, service is great, nice complimentary stuff like top notch drinks and tea and coffee , fresh and great breakfast, good nice garden , very nice for morning and evening walk!!!, view of lake windermere, walking distance to the pier , beautiful elegent classy, and nice hotel in a garden, perch on a hill overlooking the lake, best hotel in windermere, romantic, I like the oldskool lift nostalgic

Comfortable rooms, excellent view”
Laura Ashley The Belsfield hotel is most beautiful hotel with the best view in that area. From our suite, we enjoyed wonderful views of the lake and the garden. The only problem was that it was a little warm and stuffy. Otherwise, an overall wonderful hotel.

Great Romantic Destination ”
Stay at the hotel was pleaseant experience, the staff were so polite and nice! From the day we arrived till check out we were looked after to the best level. Location of the hotel is the best of all as we get to go out and experience the best of what Lake District have to offer. Only down side what I felt was the Restaurant dinner menu, it was limited options and food wasn’t how you expect to have in a fancy place. Over all I will definitely recommend this hotel

Wedding venue”
This was a wonderful venue for my nephews wedding. The entire event was so well organised and greatly contributed to a successful day. The bedrooms are well furnished, the beds are so comfortable. Coffee machines provided along with the usual tea and coffee. The only criticism is that the bar drinks are very expensive.

Our stay was o.k. The location is great with the lake and trails nearby. The views of the lake and surrounding areas from the hotel are excellent and worth paying extra for. There is also a small town very near which is great for food and drinks.

Good facility but no one smiles”
The overall experience was ok. The location and views were the best thing about it. The rooms, the breakfast were good enough. Nothing much. But the staff!! No one smiles. Literally, on one smiles. That’s weird!! One of the house keeping staff messes with my makeup kit. I reported that but got no feed back at all. I wouldn’t say it was a bad experience, it was just fine. I’ll try somewhere else next time.
