Amazing stay! ”
Great location and so happy with the front desk service. Mustafa was so kind upon arrival and all the other staff throughout my stay have been equally as pleasant. There is 24/7 electricity and hot water and the rooms are very clean upon arrival. Best stay in Hamra I experienced in my many years of travels to Lebanon. 100% recommend!

Housekeeping was loud and noise with actions and moving around their equipment. ”
The hotel is great for value, however the important thing for hotel guests is serenity of the stay. Thus, the Housekeeping was very loud and noisy in the morning and daytime.

Not a great hotel. In a city with a lot of other options, this is a basic hotel that I was happy to only spend 1 night in. My room had a hole in the wall and it looks like the photos were taken ages ago.

Lavender home hotel is ready bad”
The room and the bathroom were extremely dirty . The linens were not full of brown spots. The hotel has no AC in the very small lobby due to no electricity in Beirut. Overall I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

DON'T book this hotel”
Lavender Home hotel was one of the worst hotels I have ever booked in my life (they are a lot). everything was disastrous starting from cleaning level (awful), internet speed (almost offline), staff response (slow as turtle or none) and the professionalism of everyone in the hotel starting with the receptionist till the "kids" doing the cleaning!. I booked a suite for 11 nights for my family including young children and it was nasty and dirty and I had to request a special cleaning which happened every two days not everyday as usual! as a conclusion, our stay was really bad and we would never repeat it again!

Fantastic hospital and excellent value...”
I had to organize a last-minute overnight stay in Beirut and came across this hotel in my (very rushed) internet search. I was greeted upon arrival with a cup of tea while I was checking-in. Just a small gesture, but it was a was very appreciated after all the rushing and chaos of the day. Room service was fast and food portions were very generous. It was better than fancy... it was homely... :-) The staff were really friendly at the hotel, responding quickly to all requests and eager to help. I was even very graciously granted a late checkout by management to accommodate my schedule for the day (had a very important and long appointment and was not able to get back to the hotel until after 3 pm). The only thing about the hotel is that it is a little difficult to locate, but if you tell the taxi driver it is around the corner from the Commodore hotel it should work... I had a great stay... thanks to Mohammad and Bilal and the team! Definitely recommend this hotel!

Sound proof rooms would be good”
Friendly staff, great location, but the hotel needs sound proof system as we had noisy neighbors and the streets are quite lively around the hotel. We could not get a proper rest. Bathroom was very dirty and the rooms lack of natural lighting. It is quite dark when you get in.

Obnoxious manager ”
Shower water pressure was a problem that couldn't be resolved, and manager clearly thought too highly of himself to even discuss it. The only excuse we got was that he has a university degree so he must know what he's doing. My answer: Richard Branson left school at 16. The least thing the manager could have done was have an open honest discussion and be humble and apologetic.
