central location, old hotel”

we went there to do some work, the hotel provided all the needed services, and was great to use time left for us to see the city, i would recommend this hotel to my friends for sure, tip to the hotel owner: please renew your rooms and hotel design, your hotel could be one of the best in beirut with some attention!

Traditional hotel ”

Recommend rooms at the front of the hotel. Staff helpful, polite and friendly, the rooms very clean. Breakfast offerings could have been better given you have to pay extra. Benihana in hotel is great though.

AS usual nice hotel”

Very nice location with a very good staff ( as usual) clean and close to pleasant places in ALHAMRA ,restaurants ,shopping, ....etc. I like to stay always in this hotel.

Rooms were clean. Only problem I had was the phone and the fridge was not working. Called room service but nothing happened . They checked but nothing happenend after that.

in its current condition, this hotel can not be rated over 3 stars taking in consideration the rooms conditions, walls cheaply painted, plywood on doors deteriorating, furniture pale color due to age and bad maintenance if any. oh and a 5stars hotel do not charge you for a bucket of ice!!! yet this hotel did.

I dont give 4 star for baisc hotel surcharge parking , rooms old not clean and salt water in bathroom

Cleanliness of the hotel is very poor. Room was not cleaned properly during my stay. Bathroom smelled of mildew. Hotel is looking tired and needs refurbishment. Carpet and curtains smell.

Iconic of Beirut ”

The hotel is one of the iconics in Beirut. The hotel is having its own identity which very rare to see it in BEY city. I stayed in this hotel in 2001, the same atmosphere of welcoming and kindness. 10/10 for the management to keep maintaining this perfect image of the hotel. I really recommend this hotel. It has very high standards which everyone is need to enjoy.

There was incorrect agency registration and despite we presented the correct reservation date we had to wait two hours to get our room keys after challenging with the reception staff who was helpful but was not able to take a prompt decision and had so many calls
