A great location with its fabulous views, but, a car is a must”
My wife and I stayed in a suite for 7 nights, a suite that had fabulous ocean/island views. The suite was large with a kitchenette, a lounge are, a generous sized bedroom and bathroom, and a good sized balcony looking straight out to the ocean and the islands, absolutely beautiful.. Breakfast and dinner, most times we prepared in the kitchenette and ate on the balcony, truly relaxing, particularly at the end of a "busy" day sightseeing and spending our time on the beach and in the water. The room is dated, yet it "works" The hotel shows 3 star rating on its entrance plaque and we would agree with that rating, perhaps slightly higher, say 3.5 stars, given the view, the size of the room, its inclusions an, in our case at least, its peace and quiet. The service varies from good to ordinary. Having extolled its virtues, you really "have to have" a car to get around. Without a car, the Le Stanley would be too remote, taking away the pleasure of all the "plusses" mentioned earlier.

This stay was bearable for one night but the facilities, location and cleanliness was not acceptable”
The showers had hairs in them, the place was closed and we had to wait at 8pm to get into it for 20mins. The location was so far away from the main town and the facilities were not as advertised. I am looking for some compensation on the stay as per the details outlined above.

A beautiful outlook onto the bay, friendly helpful staff, great sized suite ”
The location was a little far from tourist attractions and there are no shops or restaurants within walking distance but on the same token it has a fantastic outlook over the bay and is very relaxing and there is a good restaurant in the hotel . If you are hiring a car or willing to catch a bus or taxi location shouldn’t be too much of a problem . We were in a ground floor apartment at the far end and it was perfect for us as it had a small area for children to play outside. If we left the doors open a beautiful breeze came through the apartment. The unit was serviced and we were able to cook in ours although there is no oven just a microwave . There is a 1.5m concrete retaining wall pretty much the length of the hotel which could be a concern for people with young children. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel especially if you have your own transport.

This hotel is quite far from town, a 20,-30 minute bus ride. Nice hotel with self catering facilities, but be aware meat is very expensive in Noumea, so a kg of mince is about $20+, depending on where you get it. But if you want a relaxing holiday and with just reading & swimming in the pool this is a good place.

I was satisfied with my stay. If I could make comments to improve : Breakfast could improve , I was disappointed with Le petit bonjour, could have had a small fruit salad or yogurt Can be noisy with adjoining room guests slamming doors or moving chairs etc Minor maintenance needed eg replace broken tiles in stairways , improve the shower towels

Horrendously high for what you get”
As a local resident and a seasoned world traveler, here are my observations : 1) Reception folks untrained -nice folks but inexperienced and unable to answer the simplest questions-. 2) the Oceanview SUITE was advertized as having a KING bed (absolutely needed). Was barely a Queen (160cm x 200cm, maybe) 3) Also advertized : Bathrobes .... There were none And a few other perks tgat weren't there. 4) Dishwasher was not functioning 5) only 3 of everything... chairs, plates, glasses, etc .. what if you want to invite a couple of friends over for a drink or to munch on something? On a positive note, very large and nice suite with a beautiful view... A lot of potential... 6) Breakfast was very good and the lady in charge at 5:30 (from Mare), absolutely wonderful. A lot of improvement needed to make this place a good value for anyone and for it to be adecent reflevtion of our beautiful country to any tourist... especially at this price!

Le Stanley wants to be more then they are. Not everyday service the appartment for that price? ”
Far away from everything. They have a restaurant but nowhere is it mentioned that the restaurant isn’t open every night. The beach is dirty. There is a pontoon but the ladder is uncomfortable and hurts your feet

No WiFi”
Arrived to find there was no WiFi and I urgently needed to contact people in both the evening and the morning (where it still did not work). The staff told me an engineer was coming tomorrow, and then in the morning they said they were coming in the afternoon. They did not seem bothered about the lack of WiFi, but for me this was a necessary requirement. In the evening I requested to cancel the remainder of my booking, and the evening staff told me that this would be no problem, but that I needed to request this from the morning staff, which I then did in the morning only to be told that I needed to email their manager to request this, which I then did, only to be told that I needed to contact Agoda to cancel.

A 2 pas de l aéroport Magenta”
Hôtel parfait pour un court passage, bien tenu, basique. Cuisine bien équipée, vieillissant mais très propre. Vraiment pratique pour un vol intérieur au départ de l aéroport de Magenta (5 mn en voiture).

Hôtel très bien situé, propre, bien équipée, un parking gratuit, une belle vue sur le lagon,par contre le personnel à l'accueil faudrait qu'elle arrête ces occupations afin que le client attend pas 8 mn pour son Cheeking avant qu'elle s'occupe du client.
