A very refreshing experience, surrounded by nature and animals. Staff are helpful and prepared baby cot and steriliser steamer in room before we check in. Great breakfast too. Hope we can come again.

Stay at Leofoo”
Had a short one night stay at Leofoo resort. I chose the more economical option and was surprised I also got to see animals like the stork, capybaras and lemurs from my window. Windows are sealed so no worries about animals running into the room and having a face off with you. I liked how the safari themed hotel showcased different animals. The pricier rooms with balconies would be really beautiful. Sunsets and sunrise are gorgeous, that goes without saying. We prepaid for the meal in the hotel’s restaurant as we wanted to go hassle free travelling with young kids. They provided a cot and necessary towels for us. We had a clean stay and no, the smell of the animals didn’t get to the rooms which was quite impressive. We arrived for a late check in and was told our ticket redemption could cover both the day of arrival and the following day which we actually booked for, that was pretty cool! The hotel also provides buggy/ van ride over to the theme park.

Fun and enjoyable family stay”
The resort and theme park can occupy the whole family for the entire day and it is not enough... Sooo many activities (chargeable or free) for the young as well as adults to participate in. But may be too costly to stay there for a couple of days. The breakfast and dinner (buffet) spread is good in my opinion. If meals not included, eating at the restaurant would be expensive but the dishes are nice. Spacious room but note that it chargeable based on per headcount.

There is nothing quite like it - animals literally at your doorstep! There were activities to engage the family throughout the day so there’s something for everyone. Definitely check out the safari! The rooms are very well thought out and very spacious - enough room for kids to have their own fun. Only bugbear is the food options with only a cafe and a buffet area - one too simple, the other quite expensive

we had the congo room, price is rather steep in my opinion for resort stay. meals in resort were pricey too. good part of it, room was big and comfy, double sinks and toilet bathroom we could take the shuttle to the themepark

Not worth the money paid”
We are a family of 6 (4 adults, 2 young children). Firstly, we were assigned a room which is at a corner and far away from the animals, but we paid for the premium room which is supposed to be right in front of the animals. And oh, the resort’s only giraffe passed away last year, so if you are expecting to see a giraffe, you will be sorely disappointed, like how my kids are. When we called the front desk to ask why we are assigned such a faraway room from the animals, the front desk reply was not helpful, and just simply brushed us off by saying that their rooms are full and they can’t accommodate to everyone who wants the best view. Like really? Secondly, the TV doesn’t work, and it took us 2 calls to get the staff to come fix the issue. And then the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, all the good slots are taken up super fast despite us already checking in the hotel 3 hours prior to the official check in time. Not only that, the restaurant always ran out of food, cutleries, plates and bowls. Very bad service at the restaurant. Those guests who arrived at the restaurant slightly later, will miss out all the food because we saw a lot of guests took a mountain of the same food (with lots of leftovers in the end). The hotel should implement leftover charges to deter guests from doing that. It’s very unfair to the people who came later. In summary, this hotel is not worth the price we paid. If not for the close proximity to the theme park, we would not have chosen to stay there.

My room heater not working and provided us with a portable heater which cannot heat up the room. staffs are helpful. TV not working at the 2nd half of world cup. staffs informed that technician only available 9am. we missed the match.

Fun for kids , Great Resort with Big Room and beds”
I reached the hotel at 9am. When for check-in, but they say the room was not available yet, probably 4pm. So we left our luggages with the counter. The stay was included with 2 theme park tickets , 2 dinner and 2 breakfast. The room was meant for 4 person but there is only 2 of us. So we proceed to the theme park. We had to walk 100 m from the resort to the park. (10mins walk). We went there on a MOn, therefore the park was so quiet. Basicially not many people, so all the rides we do not need to queue. Even if you are the only one taking the ride, they will also operate for you. You can take as many times as you want. The park close at ard 4pm. Therefore, we proceed back to resort for activity like pinecone ostrict handcraft which is free. Then after, we went to see their main show. It was perform by 5 africans. Their singing and dancing were very great. But we realised all performance were performed the 5 of them and it is almost the same. We then find it quite boring to watched it 2nd or 3rd time.I think they can better improved in this area. The resort room was great, but we aint facing the main animal gallery where the giraffes, rhinos, zebra, flamingoes, racoon, etc. We were on the zebra cottage side(left building) but facing the outside, where they are only racoons, goats and llamas. But we are pretty close to them compared to the rooms facing the main gallery.Ours is on the first level. The beds are huge with two big pillows and two small pillow on each bed. The high table was great as we can sit there and view the animlals. Toilet was split into WC and shower. WC alone with door. And shower room with two shower cubical and 2 basins. This shower room do not have door but only a pull down bind. Dinner and breakfast was buffet. We make cab reservation from front desk from Resort to Hsinchu HSR was fixed NT600. When we came, we took a car from Hsinchu Railway Station to Leofoo resort was NT800. This was quote by the Hsinchu 101 Hotel staff.

It's a fantastic stay for kids!”
It's really a fun stay for the family with kids! Waking up in the morning with views of the animals by the windows, it's definitely a good experience! The rooms are spacious and the staffs are all friendly and I must personally thank the Restaurant Manager whom had help us change the dinner vouchers to the next day lunch, as we are unable to consume the dinner the night before. Thank you to all the staffs from LeoFoo Guanshi Resort! We personally recommend this place to stay with kids!

we stay in leofoo resort with my mum and my 5 years old daugther, both mother and daugther enjoy the stay. front desk staff is very helpful, delux room was fully book when i booked on line with agoda, however upon checkin, i asked about paid upgrade to deluxe room with greenery cetegory room and happily inform there are one available. the room was wit nice view to the center of the hotel, overlooking zebra area. my daugther love the room very much. room is clean, we enjoyed hotel breakfast very much. overal i will give the hotel 5 star !!

Pleasant stay! ”
We arrived late around 9pm because of a flight disruption and the staff was kind enough to make arrangement for us to take our dinner (even though the last order for dinner was at 9pm), as well as change our dinner vouchers to the next day’s lunch . We were also very pleased to receive a free upgrade of room which makes our stay a very comfortable one. Cleanliness in our room is fine and acceptable, considering that it’s not a new resort. The food at Cape of Good Hope restaurant is a must try, the pasta and steamed fish (with set meal) are excellent and highly recommended! Other great service include staff are friendly and helpful, there is free shuttle to and fro the Leofoo amusement Park. We stayed for 2 nights but didn’t manage to visit all 4 Parks, we managed to cover 2 Parks (amusement and Safari) during the 2nd day. It was a pleasant and extraordinary experience living with and looking at the animals in Leofoo Resort and Leofoo village.
