Rooms perfectly clean and double bed is like 2m wide. So, veeery comfortable. Window is not possible to open but air con works perfectly. Breakfast is very good and location great for those who want to explore central parts of Barcelona on foot. 1.5km to Catalunya square and La Rambla. Staff is very helpfulVery helpful.

Good location, decent hotel overall”
I stayed 5 nights in this hotel and I had a pleasant stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly, especially a young Peruvian guy called Gorge who made me feel at home right away. The breakfast is a bit redundant and without much variety, but it was still not too bad. The room was clean and I was lucky to get a spacious one too. The location is fantastic with plenty of things within walkable distance. Although I did use the metro in the last 2 days :) In a word, recommended hotel.

This was a nice hotel, clean and a wonderful breakfast for twelve euros. We were able to borrow adapters easily and wish we had asked for a fan, as our room was facing on the street. Staff was helpful and we are sorry all hotels will be taking a hit because of the coronavirus.. The infused water in the lobby was a nice touch.. The one suggestion we would have is to revamp the bathtub/shower. The short glass enclosure makes it impossible to NOT get a lot water on the tile floor, making it dangerously slippery while getting out of the high tub..

Room is well appointed, supplied and comfortable, hotel is away from main road so reasonably quiet, the staff is polite and helpful. A short walk to the subway station. The downside to this facility is the room rate which is rather high given the quiet - away from central location.

Exceptional”
Leonardo Hotel Gran Via is located perfectly when visiting Barcelona. Close to metro and bus stations and Plaça d'Espanya (in case you want to take the train to Montserrat for example), and walking distance from the Eixample center. Super friendly staff, lovely breakfast and good value for money. Would book here again.

Spacious hotel in the heart of Barcelona”
Most European 3 star hotels have small rooms but Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Gran Via is one of its kind - spacious and at the heart of Barcelona. Firstly the breakfast is abundant and costs only 10 euros so its worth it. Second the hotel tends to be packed so expect early check in or late check out to be denied. Third there are 2 in Barcelona only Ramblas has the swimming pool. Fourth toilettries and water are supplied daily and at the lobby you can get free water and apples. No kettle at the room for hot water but there is espresso machine. For non EU guests they dont provide power adapters but there are USB adapters. Cable has mix of local and cable channels. Would like to recommend Rona from the breakfast team who is very friendly and accomodating during our breakfasts. Plenty of cafes, bars and supermarts around the hotel. There is a good walking and sitting area near the hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay at Leonardo and would come back but maybe in Ramblas next time to try.

A bit expensive for what it is but excellent location and staff”
We stayed 3 nights as a couple in a comfort room. We wanted a double bed insteead of 2 nearby simple bed and the staff nicely changed us of room from the second day. The staff were really nice when we asked for advice about restaurant and where to spend the new year. The hotel is located a 1min-walk away from Gran via and the Christmas market in December, and at a walkable distance from the main places in Barcelona. The staff speak french and english quite well. Small details were the bathroom has some marks of humidity (door paint and few bath joints). We would recommend it !

I was staying at this hotel with little baby and a friend. Room was really nice and cosy. Relaxing . The reception polite and helpful. Even with so small baby the room was convenient to heat up the milk. They provide me with cot what was super good. Location is very good as well. Couple minuses... walls are bit thin. Could hear my neighbours sometimes.Cleaning staff could improve their standards :) fridge seemed to never work properly. In conclusion I was very happy with this choice of hotel. Can't really judge the price as not sure what price standards Barcelona has. I believe the hotel is suitable for someone who like leisure for better price.

The staying in the hotel was enjoyable and comfortable; the staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a budgeted one with great services. Rooms are clean and well furnished, elevators are decorated, and reception has modern furniture. The bathroom was very clean with high standards. Dark curtains ensured a good sleep at night. Buffet breakfast is reach of cereals, jam, butter, honey, croissant, & many other things. I will return to the hotel if I am in Barcelona again as it was a good value for money and excellent offer.

A really nice hotel that’s commutable to the Barcelona sightseeing places of interest with very friendly staff. We had a lovely time and were well looked after. My only minor negative was they were renovating rooms on our floor so we were woken up in the morning before we wanted to be and the walls are quite thin. However, I’d recommend and go back again.

Inexpensive hotel in the center of the gay district.”
The hotel is located in a tranquil place in the center of Barcelona. The closest metro stations are Rocafort and Urgell: 5-10 min walking. The wi-fi and air conditioning worked fine. The bed was comfortable with many pillows. The check-in and check-out were quick. The hotel was relatively inexpensive despite its location and the time that I booked it at (1 month before the stay) during the peak of touristic season.

Happy with our choice of Leonardo grand via. Would recommend and return. We had comfort room and more than adequate for our stay. Good size, facilities clean with strong wifi. Good location with plenty’s of cafes nearby and close to metro. A lot of sites in walking distance. Helpful staff.

Great hotel for value and location ”
This hotel is away from the hussle and buzzle of placa Cataluna but can get there in 5 minutes by train and 15 minutes by walk. 2 minitues walking to metro Rockfort. Hotel is 5 minutes walk to placa Espana. 2-3 minutes walk to Aero bus statio from the airport . So very very easy access. Very very clean hotel and rooms has a gewt fragrance when you walk in. Staff is very polite has a continental breakfast but not a huge variety . There are restaurants ,mini markets around the place

Central 3 star hotel”
Nice and clean central 3 star hotel. In the reception there is a Welcome water and Apple which is nice. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from rocafort metro station. I stayed only 1 night. The room is spacious with a minibar fridge, free bottle of water and tea coffee. Toiletries (no tissue box) in the bathroom and extra body wash on the wall in the shower. I would stay here again but the only thing that was the free internet was quite slow, you can upgrade to the faster version. I think in 2018 all internet should be free and fast.
