Wonderful Dive Resort”
I can't recommend Leyte Dive Resort enough! It's a beautiful resort, quiet and charming with a beautiful view of the ocean. The food is great and Bruno and Emilin really make you feel at home. The diving around this area is some of the best in Leyte and should not be missed by anyone wishing to dive. Please don't let the Typhoon put you off Leyte! Yolanda did not touch Southern Leyte where Malitbog is and the area is stunning. You can always get a ferry across from Cebu to bypass Tacloban.

Little piece of Paradise!”
We absolutely loved our stay at Leyte Dive Resort, Bruno and the staff there are incredibly warm and welcoming ... we felt like we were staying with an old friend rather than in paid accommodation ... Honestly can not recommend this place enough! The rooms so cute and the hammock out the front overlooking the bay is just gorgeous ... I asked Bruno one day if they had a deck of cards that we can use which they didn't, so he went out the next day and bought me a deck to keep! Thanks Bruno for making our stay extra special ... can't wait to come back and hang out! Luke and Ash

Great Dive Resort”
My wife and I, both divers, enjoyed our stay in the premium room three. The room was air conditioned and very clean, and we were able to keep the door closed and the bugs out. There was a queen bed, private bathroom, and the ocean was a few steps out the door. The staff were friendly, competent, and always smiling, and they were always helpful. However, if you are looking for the amenities of a big city hotel, go to a big city hotel. This is a dive resort that fills that role very well. We dived for three days and looked for whale sharks one more day. The best diving and the search for whale sharks takes place across Sogod bay which takes about an hour or a little more if you are looking for the sharks. The boat will go across the bay and hire a guide for the boat, and the boat will tow spotters in small boats to the site. We were told that there is an 80% that we would see a whale shark, but unfortunately our day was one of the 20% that doesn't see them.

3 hour taxi ride 3,500 peso from Tacloban will get you at the door of Letye Dive Resort . 4 only rooms makes this resort very quiet and Private. Good onsite dive shop will take u diving to the best sites everyday. The food is great everyday breakfast , lunch or Dinner

Cabin Style”
Nice cabin style rooms with all modern amenities. The owner Bruno and his staff were all friendly and efficient. The restaurant menu is not big, but the food is good. The location right beside the bay speaks for itself. We will definitely stay there again when we return to Southern Leyte.

fantastic place”
little resort (only 4 rooms) right by the sea. Superb food and super friendly staff. Familiar ambience. Good diving, except for the rubber lobster 😂. We couldn't see the whale sharks but saw a lote of dolphins instead. Highly recomended.

Nice place... but overprice restaurant.”
Padre Burgos + Small resort with only 3 rooms with nice garden. Room are comfy, nicely decorated and with AC, no hot water but with seaview for a good price. - Food at the resort is overpriced and not very generous. First bakeries or eateries options are at Padre Burgos (10km) or Malitbog (5km). We came there for 4 nights around New Year's Eve for diving eventually. At arrival, we were infomed the divemasters were all gone for holidays until Jan 3 (owner came after to say there was a misunderstanding). On New Year's Eve, no special meals or anything and restaurant and bar closed at 9pm without prior notice (as every normal day). Next day, on Jan 1, restaurant was completely closed (as announced at arrival) and so were all the shops and eateries from surrounding barangays... The kitchen lady was nice enough to leave us some hot water to make our own instant coffee in the morning. you go there to enjoy and dive.. of course i was afraid to dive until i met a young man (i believe the owners son)..an extraordinary young man who assured me that a dive would be beneficial..and the staff and food is awesome...this is not for those seeking 5 star accommodations..the buildings are bucolic and promote outside activities..very peaceful

great room, beautiful location just right on the beach, peaceful, quiet. the staff and the owner are all amazing and very helpful. I went diving with Bruno for 3 days and I had an amazing time, beautiful dives full of new species. i would go back again.

Nice place to stay and be quiet, snorkeling or diving. Staff were really friendly and shark whales excursion was absolutly fantastic. If you go thinking in Oslob whale shark, forget it, it is a nature friendly and ecologic. You never have 100% sure to see they but the trip snorkelling area and board food were absoluttly fantastic.

Exceptional”
Bruno was a great, friendly guy. The kitchen staff was good too. The food is reasonably priced and cooked when ordered, but beverages and deserts are a bit pricey. However, everything I tried was VERY TASTY. The breakfasts are GREAT. Honestly, everything I ordered was great and I ate three meals a day there, and my girlfriend agreed. Just buy some bottled drinking water from a store, and maybe some juice, and you’ll be set. It’s a beautiful place. I’d LOVE to return there, and hope to soon. We snorkeled right off the beach, and saw lots of cool colorful fish and coral. A really great time. My only suggestion would be to bring a citronella candle to light on an outside table because there can be mosquitos that are pesky. Or simply wear an odor free repellant in the evening if you’re prone to bites. But it’s truly a great place at a very reasonable price.

A small homey resort right on the sea. Very friendly staff and absolutely good kitchen. The rooms are very clean and functional. Value that loves tranquility in the typical Filipino style, you have to book.

It needs a few things to be a great hotel ”
Mosquito heaven, could not sleep.. serious issue, Good staff its saving grace, Pricing not the best given what your getting. If your charging US prices you have to produce and provide US quality and quantity, especially in food prices and adventure tours. Given there is no quick transport to an ATM(that works) the fact they only take cash but have no in room safes is an issue. I recommend they look at their price point and overall policies, and come up with a good bundled deal, suggest Breakfast, A daily activity, Dinner, lodging (for two) It would seriously increase there traffic there. I left two days early out of boredom and difficulty too getting to activities locally, Staff is great felt very safe great grounds good cook.

Best in Candatag”
We had an awesome stay. We love the simplicity and the view. The room is clean and the staff are hands down the best. Great food! Friendly owner and they really took care of us in our entire stay. Pet friendly environment. The owner is very nice and entertaining she even made me calamansi juice to restore my voice back. The view is magnificent and the surrounding is very peaceful and calm. If you are looking for a perfect getaway and have a peace of mind, i really recommend this place. Friendly people and good service. Food is great they have a great cook! Thank you for the entire stay. Will definitely come back!

Small place , limited facilities, noisy air con but in a good location with great views. .food is fine but there is a charge for rice whereas most places around include with the ordered meal. Many “ do this don’t do this “ signs in rooms, not sure why especially as one of them is copied from a Florida hotel... but was a good stay with great views. The beach was cleaned nightly which was good to sea...within 10 metres of seashore are excellent corals
