I arrived with my son partner and my elderly mum I was put on 3rd floor my mum on 1st floor getting out the lift very shaky lift the smell hit us so dirty the room was in such bad condition my son did not want to stay he didn’t even won’t me to shut room door I run the shower what was cold so I went all the way down to reception to ask to be moved she asked for what reason when I told her she said we don’t have another 3 bed room I asked can I get my money back so could book in somewhere else as my son was really upset and is autistic her reply was you have not stated your son has autism I said I should not need to so asked for refund and got told she would take £50 for each room I said why as I only just got in 30 minutes ago she said we have used it by this the my son was saying it’s okay mum I will try be okay at that point she said I can move you tomorrow I had no choice but to do the next day I got moved the room was a great improvement was not expecting 4 star but the top floor room I would not book anyone paying guess into I was treated so bad by staff at reception one came out from the back told the woman at desk tell her I said she will be moved tomorrow both standing in front of me as the receptionist looked at me and said your getting moved tomorrow attitude so rude next morning I went down with my mum for breakfast costing me £10 as my room came without free breakfast my mum’s did I said I thought i booked both rooms with breakfast but no so I paid £10 so my mum didn’t sit alone as we got to breakfast room we had a choice of beans and plum tomatoes nothing else was ready so we waited then bacon came out then scrambled eggs so took 1 bacon and little bit egg as by time we got our turn it was all gone again I was never apologised to not once my son was so uncomfortable he got hisself into a state he was throwing up never again am 55 and the worst place and staff I have ever experienced

Great location, great price via the internet, paid £44.10 for one night only . Tried booking direct the price was £86.00 . I got a bargain. Great breakfast £10. 00. Eat as much as you like buffet. Room was good, staff were helpful, bar was excellent. What more do you want. Parking is limited to first come basis.

Room was basic but ok. Fire alarm went off at 12pm and then at regular intervals until 4am. Every time I dozed off, the alarm went off again. When I asked reception it was apparently due to someone smoking in a room - must be a heavy smoker!!! Breakfast was poor. Dirty plates, dirty & sticky tables, no bacon, powdered eggs, no white bread. Rice crispies were either old or a cheap brand - either way, tasted like cardboard. Entertainment on sat night tried his best, but was like playing at the titanic survivor la reunion. Wouldn't stay here again.
