Incredible service and heartfelt hospitality”
I actually had to shed a tear when I left Lila Homestay, because the owners waving at at us from the street as we left in the shuttlebus for the airport reminded me of my grandparents. :'-) This is the most moving and overwhelming experience of vietnamese hospitality that we have experienced. We had a big doubleroom which balcony and a nice garden view, good aircondition and a nice bathroom. Sheets and towels were changed every day (we didn't expect that for a homestay). The bed was comfy and wifi worked very well. Every morning the hostess and her sister cooked us delicious traditional vietnamese breakfast in the kitchen of the big beautiful house, and they would hand us each a cold bottle of water for free everytime we left the house or came back. The hostess helped us book tours to My Son and Hue, and also booked a cheap but very nice shuttlebus to the airport. The location is halfway between beach and Hoi An Old Town, and for free you can borrow a bicycle and go both places which is very nice. If you are in for a motobike, the hostes will also book one of those for you for a good price. They really made us feel at home with great warmth and every effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The evening we came home from a 13 hour one day trip to Hue, we were very tired. The hostess gave us yoghurt like kids coming home from school, which was so sweet. We were not sure whether you could pay the hostess to cook you dinner (some homestays offer that) so we asked her, but that was not the case. However, she offered to go out and buy som food for us. We politely declined and told her that we would just do that ourselves, as we did not want to trouble her any further. So we went to our room to shower and after a short time our hostess knocked on the door. She had bought 4 banh mi sandwiches for us - and she didn't even want us to pay for it!! Absolutely wonderful experience!”
I had such a wonderful experience at Lila Homestay! Firstly, it is an ideal location (halfway between the beach and Old Town) and they generously provided me with a bicycle (free of charge) so it was easy for me to get around. Also, they provided delicious breakfasts, coffee, smoothies, and cold bottles of water. My room was lovely, my bed was comfortable, their wifi was reliable, their water was hot, and everything was very clean. They also have an adorable puppy named Lucky who was really well-behaved. I really felt well taken care of and appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating they were (I stayed several hours later than originally expected and they also helped me to set up transportation to the airport). I had such a nice time in Hoi An and a lot of that had to do with staying at Lila Homestay. If you plan to go to Hoi An, I highly recommend it!

BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED!”
I cracked up when I read a review before booking Lila Homestay....it said something to the effect that Quyen and her family are not the nicest people you will meet in Hoi An, not the nicest people you will meet in Vietnam, but instead they are the nicest people you will meet in the whole wide world. This statement could not be more correct!!! We travelled Southeast Asia for 3 months and this was handsdown our favourite place we stayed. It's not about the location, its not about the room, it's not about the setting (although all three of those are great), this is literally about the people that made our stay what it was. There is not much point in me detailing all of the lovely things they did throughout our stay, because am sure that 100% of their reviews will all be positive. All you need to know is DONT LOOK ANY FURTHER - BOOK THIS HOMESTAY as you will meet the lovliest family that truly cares about what they do and their one wish in life is for you to enjoy your stay. Laundry was back within 6 hours of us giving it to them! Breakfast was out of this world and the best food we had in our whole trip to Vietnam! Wifi actually worked so well! Great shower! Free Bikes! And endless amounts of delicious lotus tea <3 I could go on all night.....we just loved this place!

Our stay at Lila Homestay was over the top wonderful. The homestay is a beautiful home. Our room was on the second floor, up a sweeping staircase. The room had a small terrace and an en suite bathroom. Everything was immaculately clean and the hostesses keep it that way for you without any intrusion on your privacy. You are a 10 minute Grab ride from the old town center, but better yet Lila will prepare bicycles for you to ride there. Every morning Lila prepares a spectacular breakfast featuring a hoi an specialty plus coffee, tea and a fresh fruit dessert. Most wonderfully are the graciousness of the two hostesses. It was an unforgettably positive experience.

Amazing is the word for lila homestay!”
Our 5 days stay at Lila homestay was amazing! We felt at home as soon as we got there and quin (the owner) and the staff will do anything to help you and to make you feel comfortable! It really feels like its not just a business for them but they also enjoy helping people to get a nice vacation! I got sick one of the days and they made good for me and my boyfriend and checked if I was alright! :-) we just felt so welcome and so much at home! The rooms are great, bed is really good, free bicycles and some amazing breakfast everyday! If you are in hoi an you cant miss to stay here! I would afvise everybody to stay at Lila homestay! Perfect, relaxing, & clean Homestay!”
We had planned to stay one day in Hoi An and heard about Lila Homestay through a friend that had come here last year. We ended up staying four days because we loved staying here. The family (husband, wife, sister) are incredibly attentive, considerate, and helpful. The entire family is so nice and helps you with anything you need. Every morning, the wife and sister made us a delicious and traditional Vietnamese breakfast (different each morning). We looked forward to this meal every morning. The room is huge with great a/c and wifi. Everything is incredibly clean too. The family always had everything ready for us- bikes, towels for the beach, filtered water, etc. The home is in between town and the beach- a relaxing and wonderful bike ride. It's quiet and relaxing. They also did our laundry and helped organize transportation for us. We are so sad to have to leave and definitely recommend you to stay here. This has been such a great experience.

Best homestay in Vietnam! ”
After two weeks and five different destinations in Vietnam, we arrived in Hoi An and ended up falling in love with Lila Homestay. Quyen and her sister Bang will do everything and more to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The house is located in a nice area right outside all the bustle. The rooms and bathroom are super clean. The homemade breakfast is great, and it’s a different menu every day so you get to try all the typical Vietnamese dishes. We loved the coffee and the ginger tea. Bang was constantly providing us with water bottles throughout the day and every time we’d go out, so we were never thirsty. You get bikes for free to explore the city and towels for going to the beach. They even gave us (without us asking) new rain ponchos on our only rainy day. And when we left, Quyen had bought us some tea as a present. We couldn’t be more grateful to Quyen and Bang. Thank you so much!!!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!”
Absolutely loved this place!! Lila homestay is one of the nicest places we've stayed whilst in SE Asia. The staff made our stay a very happy one and we were genuinely sad to leave. Free bikes, lovely home cooked breakfasts, towels and water when we went to the beach and we even got a gift when we left. The rooms were large, modern and very clean. It is quite a distance to walk to town and the beach but as its in the middle it's an easy ten minute bike ride to both. If we are ever in hoi an again there would be no other choice than Lila!!

One of our best stays in Asia! ”
We had an awesome stay in Hoi An! We arrived at 06:45 am and immediately could go in our really nice and clean room, 30 min later owner already prepared a delicious breakfast (was not included as it was arrival day). As my girlfriend had an accident and therefore wasn't able to ride the bicycle, they immediately offerred us a motorcycle for free! Booked one night and stayed three, because we felt like home! The breakfast was the best food we ate in Vietnam, and the family is so charming and helpfull. We can totally recommend the Lila homestay!! Thank you!

Best Homestay in Hoi An! ”
Lila Homestay was the highlight of our trip. The family is so incredibly nice and will do anything for you. They are extremely helpful with booking tours and doing laundry etc. The location is awesome with being a short bike ride from town and the beach. The breakfast is seriously AMAZING! Better than the restaurant food we ate in town. We intended on staying 3 nights but ended up staying 10, and even then we were reluctant to leave. Thank you so much Quyn and family! I highly recommend staying here if you want to have an amazing experience in Hoi An.

The family at Lila homestay will become your own family for your stay in Hoi An. The home was so nice, clean and quiet. The room was perfect. We got free bicycles to ride on, the homemade complimentary breakfast was sooo good (three mornings, three different types of breakfast). We were almost spoilt, the service was so good. Highly reccomended! PS. For those of you using maps.me, the location there is about 1 km from the actual location. Check google maps instead where it is correct.

Great homestay, wonderful hosts ”
We had a wonderful stay at Lila Homestay. Quyen and Xin are excellent hosts taking care of all your needs, from serving up different authentic Vietnamese breakfasts each morning, supplying us with cold bottles I water when we left and came back and advising on the best places to eat around town. The location is outside the old town but easily accessible by the bicycles provided by Lila or the motorbike you can rent for a very low rate. Our children were a bit put off initially by the basic facilities (having stayed in upmarket properties just before coming here) but they came around quickly especially enjoying playing with the host's dog Lucky who has a distinct personality. Xin is an audiophile with a unique collection of old high end audio. The house will resonate with Santana or American jazz depending on his fancy. There are probably more upmarket home stays in town but here at Lila you will definitely find yourselves at home.

Lila Homestay is run by the sweetest people. Not just the sweetest people in Hoi An, or Vietnam - but the sweetest people of all time. They are beyond kind, helpful and are looking to ensure that you're completely comfortable at every possible turn. The breakfasts are delicious. The room is absolutely spotless. They helped us to book transportation and had great advice for local sights. I honestly wish I could give more than five stars ... it would be absolutely deserved.

Great time with a local family”
We had a great time at Lila Homestay and would absolutely recommend it. The breakfast was local, different and home made every day, better than what we were served in some restaurants in town. The room was the best in its price class we had in 2 months of travelling through S-E-A: It was spacious,the bed comfortable, it got cleaned every day, the shower was excellent, they replaced the towels daily, changed our sheets when we prolonged our stay after 3 nights, and even provided toothbrushes and shampoo. Most outstanding however was the family's warm care for us although they could not communicate that much with us in English. They provided bicycles for free, and every time we left even put some water into our baskets. Every evening, we go hot water for making tea, and when we left for the airport very early, we got an ealry coffee, a lunch packet and a hug to go. The stay was a wonderful opportunity to get to know the outstanding friendliness and hospitality of the Vietnamese people for which we are very grateful.

Awesome Reception”
Really great stay at Lila Homestay. On the first night, when we reached at a really late time due to our flight's delay, Queen immediately cooked up noodles for us to cure us of our hunger pangs! This was the start of an amazing stay as we were treated to local cuisine every morning and were also offered the use of their bicycles for our journey down to hoi an old town! Really great stay and highly recommended!!

We stayed here for 5 nights during Tet 2015. Quian and her family made us feel very welcome from the start (she came and found us on her motorbike when our taxi driver got lost) to the finish (they all stood out the front blowing us kisses as we departed in the car they had arranged for us). Each day's breakfast was unique, beautiful and delicious, and if they knew we were going to the beach, two bicycles were waiting outside already stocked with towels and water. We were travelling with an active, curious 15 month old so we appreciated their flexibility regarding room choices and meal times. The downstairs room is perfect for those with young toddlers and also has a bath. We thouroughly enjoyed our time at Lila and will definately stay there again when we are back in Hoi An.

JUST BOOK , best homestay B&B ever and not just SE asia !!!!!”
It has been a privilage to stay at LiLa Homestay , if we had have stayed at a 5 star resort the level of service and care would not even come close. Its the little things, coming back after a days exploring to be greeted at the door with cold water, and yogurt, having the seats of out motorbikes covered so the seats didn't get hot, packing us water and towels if we mentioned we might head to the beach, being up at 0430hrs to pack us a breakfast for an early morning flight after being up late to make sure everything was OK after a night out. OUTSTANDING !!! very sad to leave this wonderful family. And the breakfasts are made with the care that goes into everything thing they do. If i could rate hight than excellent i would. Do your self a favor and stay here. I will be back and bring my family.

Lila homestay was simply an exceptional experience to stay. It’s a private house which has 2 rooms for guests. When we arrive she welcome us very kindly and help us with the backpacks and motorbike. There is a courtyard where park the bike. She cooked for us a typical Vietnamese breakfast, included the and coffee!!We felt like home!! Was really genuine and good! In every occasion she gave us a free bottle of water to drink! She treated us like yours sons! It was really a wonderful experience to stay here, we absolutely recommend !!! Top!!

A beatiful place to stay”
I can't speak highly enough of Lila Homestay. When we arrived the host had bikes for us to use free of charge. She also did an awesome job of our washing - which is always appreciated. Rooms were comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious. The host even gave me a beautiful card, rose and necklace to celebrate Vietnamese Woman's day - I have worn it most days since. My friend and I spent 3 nights at Lila Homestay and what a lovely 3 nights they were! From the warm welcome on arrival Queenie and her family could not have done more to accommodate us. There are bikes to use to cycle 10 minutes to the old town or the beach, every time we went out we were given water to take and a towel if going to the beach and retuned to a chilled fresh smoothie on more than one occasion. Breakfasts were different every day, and always served with coffee, tea and water. Room was really comfortable with a kettle, TV, safe and fridge. The bedding and towels we're changed every day and the room cleaned. We were even given a small present to take with us when we left. I would genuinely recommend this lovely place to anyone
