Misleading website”
We have been to Loch Melfort several times previously and always stayed in the Superior Rooms, 5, 6 &7 and when 3 Superior rooms were advertised on the Agoda website, with no higher grade of room shown, I naturally assumed these were 5, 6 or 7. As these do not accept dogs we booked our two dogs to stay with a dog sitter at a significant cost. I even e-mailed the hotel asking if this was in fact the correct rooms but had no reply. The room we were given was one of the inferior rooms in the annex which is basically just like a Premier Inn room with a spectacular view, far from the standard of one of the Superior rooms. The room allocated could have accommodated our dogs so we paid out money we didn't have to. We are extremely disappointed in AGODA and will not be using their search engine again.

Great location , with some helpful staff . Room was tired and the bed was very uncomfortable. Food was poor and overpriced in the bistro .

Beautiful place - so very serene and peaceful. Loved the intimate feeling as if being in someone's home - not a hotel. The decor was so lovely - and the staff very attentive. Being vegetarians, we enjoyed our special-menu cooked breakfast. Just wish we could have stayed longer - it's a gem.

beautiful location hotel with remarkable views. excellent to have a good drink while starring at the horizon if your wallet is deep enough. money value offers for the room can be well get expensive if you eat in the restaurant (excellent food for ridicoulous prices). there´s a second restaurant/bar in the back that can be a charmless option. worth it to spend a least one night
