Great value and easy access to City Centre”

Lochend Service Apartments are an ideal base to explore Edinburgh. Right on the number 34 bus route which runs about every 15 minutes and only about 12 minutes to reach the town centre. The apartments are clean and comfortable even though basic furnishings. Car parking is also on site. so just park up and go explore.

Good for groups ”

Really good for groups. The only issues were getting the let's after his was a bit tricky. A bit like the crypton factor!

Lochend Serviced Apartments is located outside the centre of town - in a somewhat interesting area -maybe not to everyones liking, but we found it ok. Located amongst a mixture of residential properties and tenements. On a local bus route so it was easy to get in and out of town. The walk from town to the apartment though the city and suburbs during the day is ok. There is not much in the way of local amendities in the immediate area. The Apartments are custodian managed on call after hours. The apartments are clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful. A bit noisy at night due to the neighbours over a weekend, but overall for a travelling couple we still enjoyed our stay.

lovely staff, sorted an early check in to help with plans for the weekend. Nice apartment, clean and plenty of space.

Needs some work”

As our first accommodation in Scotland we were abit disappointed. The apartment was old and musky. The carpet was filthy and had numerous dead bugs on the floor by the window. There were only two bath towels, one with holes in it. The couch was a bit smelly also. On the other hand though the location was good, close to public transport and food and the staff were fantastic and very helpful. With just a little work this place would be fantastic.

Stayed her (for the second time ) after dropping our daughter off at Edinburgh university. Really easy to locate and not far from the city centre,, walking is possible but the bus stop is right outside. Lovely welcome and flat ready for arrival. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of car parking spaces. Good kitchen facilities and our flat had 2 bathrooms. Would highly recommend this location for self catering.

Comfortable stay affordable price”

Location not to far from city easy access with several bus lines. Airport is a bit far, but direct bus line (35) running, if time not primary concern then it this not a problem. Self-catering, but nearby mostly take-away, however with a little walk there is Leith city center where is plentiful choice.

Das Apartment ist sehr geeignet für einen Stadtaufenthalt. Eine Linienbushaltestelle befindet sich direkt vor der Tür. Es handelt sich um ein serviced Apartment, d.h. Bettwäsche und Handtücher sind vorhanden. Außerdem war für das 1.Frühstück alles vorhanden: Toast, Butter, Marmelade, Cornflakes, Milch, Baked Beans.Ein überaus komptetenter Hausmeister war sehr hilfreich.
