The hotel we loved the most during our Eurotrip”
We arrived on a cold Bratislava afternoon, walking from the main train station (about 15 minutes) since taking the trolleybus only has a couple of stops and I guess walking is part of the adventure in a relatively small city. The staff introduced us with maps and guides on how to get to the main attractions of the city. Since we only stayed for a day in Bratislava, we made most of our time. Was also gracious to lend us a power adapter and stored our luggage while we were off to see the attractions. Main attractions like the castle, town center are just walking distance so the hotel is like a midpoint between the train station and the attractions. The hotel room was big, warm and clean. Even the corridor carpet looked like it was just been rolled for us. The room is big, with bathtub, large mirrors and big bed for a couple. Lots of accessories available in the bathroom (more than most hotels we went to). If I were to travel again, I wish all hotels are the same as Abba Bratislava.

Great hotel not too far from the centre”
The hotel was a lovely surprise. Our room was spacious and comfortable, although I would have welcomed a rug in the corridor and a bit of carpet would help it to feel even more homely. The beds were on wheels and kept pushing back from the headboard so not very practical to sit up in, quite annoying. But aside from all that, I would recommend this hotel to anyone - Bratislava city centre is walking distance, there are nice cafes and restaurants in the vicinity, it is a short walk to the historic residential area Palisady {nice to potter around}. The breakfast is very generous but I reckon if you don't get it included in the price of the room, the price might seem a bit too steep, considering you can get 3 lunches for that in town. The wifi worked perfectly, there was generous working area, the channel selection on the TV was very comprehensive (Spanish, Italian, Russian, Arabic channels among others). The cafe is quite cosy with nice wines and beer.

Amazing value hotel in central location”
We loved the Loft Hotel. You don't need an expensive taxi (23 euros each way), just get a bus to the central train station from Bratislava airport for 90 cents each and walk 10-15 minutes to the hotel - great location, we walked everywhere, no need for transport unless you are going out of the city. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We paid 10 euros each for the breakfast which is on until 10.30 and which seems a bit steep but has a great choice of buffet (even smoked salmon!) and will leave you full for the day. There are major refit works going on at the hotel until May but this didn't bother us as we were on the fifth floor, we got an amazing deal on Agoda and that's probably why. Can't recommend highly enough!

Very comfortable and luxurious”
Our stay here was absolutely fabulous. Our room was very beautiful - clean, spacious and elegant. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Free mini bar was a plus. We were checked in by front deck staff Tudor who was very generous in checking us in early as we had arrived by train in the morning. That was very nice of him. Hotel amenities were also great. They were happy to keep our baggage for us after we checked out while we visited Bratislava. Only downside was the bar downstairs where the tap beers were very badly poured where half the glass was covered in froth, so in the end you only get half a pint of actual beer. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Lovely, modern, large rooms. Friendly staff.”
My 16 year old and I really enjoyed the hotel. The rooms are big, spotlessly clean, with beautiful wood floors, and it is modern and new. The bed and pillows were the best I have ever slept in, and my son made the exact same comment. I have been to hundreds of hotels in 94 countries, and I have never known such comfort even in the finest hotels in the world. The staff couldn't be nicer, and I would return to the Abba Hotel if I ever go back to Bratislava.

Reception people friendly and welcoming, bar and restaurant staff really good - so impressed with cleaner in lobby asking if I needed help!! Breakfast super. WiFi excellent. Rooms spacious. Free minibar. Very pleasant short walk into old town. Great choice for stay in Bratislava!!

Nice hotel, short walk from train station”
Had a good stay at Abba. Short walk from the train station down the hill. And another short walk to the city center. Comfortable room, good Wifi access. Bratislava is a very nice small town, relaxed feel and a good place to pit stop for a couple days if you are traveling between Prague and Budapest/Vienna. Train to Vienna was a cheap RT fare and 1 hour each way.

This lovely hotel lies half way from the train station and downtown Bratislava. It is a very convenient location. Rooms are very good, nicely decorated, and silent. Staff performance was also very nice. Definitely, it was a good choice.

I enjoyed my stay in Abba Hotel. The rooms are clean, with comfortable beds. Fast check-in and check-out. THe hotel is just walking distance to the train station, as well as to the old town. I will definitely go back to this hotel when in Bratislava.

Very enjoyable stay, limited dining choices in the vicinity, however hotel meals were good and reasonable price. 15 minute walk to the old town centre; probably only need one day in Bratislava - we had two nights.

Take a Chance on Abba Bratislava Hotel”
we only stayed one night for a stopover in bratislava en route to prague from budapest. it's about halfway between the old town and the main train station, so from the hotel both are within 10-15 minute walking distance. rooms are very spacious and very well kept. however it was very basic and did not warrant the high price. however, it was still a cheaper option than the more expensive options in the city centre. i actually found the halfway location (between train station and old town) perfect. all was well except for the checkout. when so many people are checking out (around 8am), only one employee was manning the front desk and i had to wait almost 20 minutes to check out (this was the fault of the management in my opinion). i also had to pay the city tax (about 4 euros) that was not mentioned when i pre-paid for the room.

Nice Hotel and good location”
Abba Bratislava Hotel is located in central area ,behind the Presidential Palace. Very short walk to the old city and 15 mins to the train station. Lovely room, very clean and comfortable, modern style with free wi-fi.

Great hotel in a perfect location”
Loft is in the perfect location - midway between the station and the old town - 10 minutes walk to both. The room was very big, modern and spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the air con was a blessing in the July heat. The bathroom was a good size with an over bath style shower. The room was serviced daily with clean towels and toiletries, and clean sheets every other day. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and the mini bar was free and replenished daily. Breakfast was served in bar downstairs and was vast and plentiful - although the late morning stragglers perhaps didn't get the full selection! There was a great selection of hot and cold food, cereals, fruit, pastries, meats and cheese - definitely something for everyone! The bar served great beer brewed on site and the wine bar had a great selection of wines. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Overall a great stay and we'd definitely recommend it.

This is a 5 star hotel in a 4 star rating, the rooms are amazing, from free minibar (limited but free) to the Fabrika restaurant with localised micro brewery - the beers are just as amazing and the food. I wish there was a Loft / Fabrika in every city I have stayed in

Lovely hotel, great location, missing a few things”
Missing a couple things I would have thought standard for hotel of this class. I tried to order some drinks to my room, 2 colas and 2 waters, and was told that I could only order from the room service menu, which I assume does not include beverages. Secondly, I think there should be shoe polisher as I did not take my shine kit assuming there would be one. Other than that, the experience was very nice and the hotel was extremely good, friendly staff and well worth the price.
