The perfect hotel for me in London”
London is my favourite place on earth and this hotel seems to be the paradise for me in London. There is only one criteria for me while choosing hotel in London that it has to be close to Hyde Park. London Elizabeth Hotel is just opposite Hyde Park and the transportation there is super convenient - the Lancaster Gate station is just located across the road and there is bus stop just outside hotel. You can imagine how joyful it can be when you can return to the hotel as quick as possible in the rainy days or in chilly weather after a day of busy visit. And what I appreciate most is there Rose Garden restaurant, the breakfast serves there is perfect. Though it's continental breakfast, it provides various options for pastry and the environment is so elegant and comfy that makes every morning a good start to you. It was my second stays and I am sure this will be my second home in London.

Excellent”
The Elizabeth Hotel is good for a short stay holiday if you are looking for a reasonably comfortable place to sleep. It is located directly opposite Hyde Park and there are numerous restautants and cafes, as well as tube and bus links, within easy walking distance. Our room was adequate but the decor was very dated and it felt like a good lick of paint and a touch of modernity would work wonders! The public spaces in the lobby were nice though, with traditional 'old world' charm! Most of the staff were friendly and helpful although we did seem to be an incovenience to a couple upon arrival, who were more interested in their phones! Things did improve though. The breakfast is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick but was basic and lacked variety (especially for vegans where sliced tomato and cucumber was the only option!) and the coffee was of the 'rocket fuel' variety, despite the 'Illy' cups! We did like this hotel and would stay again but perhaps not as first choice.

Awesome and romantic”
I have been to London for 6 times and this is the best accommodation I have ever had so far. The decoration of the hotel is nice and romantic and the best of all is it's location. It's just 5 mins walk from underground station and Hyde park is just right next to it. You will find it super awesome if the hotel is so convenient when you travel in winter, no need to take long cold walk from tube station. And every morning, i can enjoy morning walk in hyde park that makes my london trip perfect.

location excellant”
the hotel is comfortable and the staff are very friendly. If you are looking for a convenient place as a base in London, this hotel is great, with a tube stop less than 50 m away and on the tour bus route, it has a great location and is not that far from Marble Arch and all that shopping. Hyde Park was a lovely balance, with its wide open space and water, and should be enjoyed. We found this to be good value for money, the breakfast was generous and of good quality.

Fantastic experience! 200/100 scores”
Stayed there during 2-5 May with mom and brother at a triple room 3 beds which was the largest room on 3/F for our first trip to Europe and U.K. Total payment was about HKD3000 (about 300 pounds) (on sale 70% off) including taxes and breakfast during peak travel periods. All of us agreed the price was great for the stay and service there. About 1 min to Lancaster Gate Station and 7 mins to Paddington Station. Superb location for visitors planning to take trains to Oxford/Bicester Villege Outlet. It's also very convenient to travel the city center by bus (about 20 mins) and there are 2 bus stations outside the hotel. There are 2 streets nearby with almost full of restaurants. Very helpful and pleasant staff (pretty girls and handsome boys). The hotel is old and in traditional style but that's what we wanna experience. Nice breakfast as well. It's next to the Hyde Park where you can have a deep breath of the fresh air in the morning before you take the bus to city center.

Sleep in Hyde Park”
I am a runner and wanted to stay close to Hyde Park. The London Elizabeth Hotel is just steps from the park. It is a clean hotel but could use some updating. Friendly staff. The rooms are fairly basic but large enough and clean. Given the prices of London hotels, this hotel is in a great location at a great price.

London Elizabeth Hotel, Hyde Park”
The hotel was located right across from Hyde Park. Very close the the London tube at Lancaster gate and Paddington Station. The hotel was clean but could use a bigger elevator. It was only for one and was slow. The room was clean and had a view of the park. The front desk personnel were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is also next to a car rental which by my luck was the car rental that I had made reservations with.

Location”
Traveling with younger kids is a challenge and the hotel provided a good arrangement, with 3 beds in 1 room and a double next door, the breakfast was generous but best was location, a park to amuse the kids, on the hop on hop off bus route and a tube less than 50 m from the hotel, London is really at your feet. There are some restaurants about and a pleasant pub so thumbs up for this hotel

Would recommend.”
1. This hotel locates near the Underground "Lancaster Gate Station" and with Santander Bikes near there too. 2. And also near Hyde Park which has Kensington Palace inside the park. 3. They do have a small old lift inside the hotel which allows me to carry my big luggage. 4. The hotel is beautiful and historical. 5. Staff at there are all very friendly. Would choose again if visit again!

Clean, friendly, but basic ”
The hotel was more than happy to store our luggage for free before and after check-in, which made spending those days in London easy. Very close to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express. Underground station right across the street. Older city hotel, so earplugs helped to block out city and hotel noises. The staff was friendly and helpful with each interaction. No hot water one morning, but we were notified of the issue ahead and given financial compensation without having to ask for consideration. It was a basic room, but 100% fine for those that need a place to sleep but aren't looking to hang out in their room.

London Elizabeth Hotel Hyde park”
Charming hotel in an excellent location, as it's right on Hyde Park but it's only a short taxi ride to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express, or Mayfair. The hotel has a slightly worn look, but i think that's part of its appeal. It is extremely good value, for the location, as the rooms are big enough, there's internet connection and breakfast is included.

Good option!”
We arrived early in the morning, way before check in, but they were kind enough to let us leave our bags there while we went and explored London! The building is older (ok, a lot older would be my guess), so that always comes with pros and cons (could use some new carpet, but the mattresses were new), but the staff was very nice and helpful, and we are at the restaurant, which was delicious!! I believe the hotel is under new management, and they’re working hard to get things up and running better!

Good Hotel”
The hotel is situated near both the Tube station of Lancaster Gate and Hyde park. The room is clean. But the stairs are slightly slanted and toilet sometimes doesn't flushed. The breakfast is English style and satisfiable. The lift is very small, so it can hold 1 person with luggage. All staff are friendly.

Warmly commended”
This is the third time I've stayed at this hotel. The staff are most friendly and there is an old world atmosphere in the hotel. I arrived earlier than the check in time of 3pm and was allowed to access my room from 1.30 which I found very helpful in preparation for a late afternoon business meeting. The hotel is one min from Lancaster Gate tube and a five mins walk to PaddingtonStation and the Heathrow Express, so very central.

Old Fashioned, but got the basics right.”
This hotel was very old fashioned, trying to have an old world antique finish, but looking more like your 90 year old grandmothers living room, lacking the class of the stately home style hotel they seemed to be trying to emulate. Cosy and homely, maybe, but felt musky and slightly damp and the bar served probably the worst pint I have ever had in London. That said, they done the basics ok. The showers were hot and powerful, the towels plentiful and the room had a trouser press that worked just fine. The continental breakfast was nice enough and the teapot held a good 2.5 cups.. and for a fiver more you could have a full english, which one of my colleagues had and it looked nice enough. Would I stay again, probably, because of the value for money for London.. but I wouldn't take the wife there on a romantic weekend thats for sure!

Very good location, room much too small”
The 'double' room was far too small for 2 people. Could not open the wardrobe doors or walk between the end of the bed & wardrobe, had to pass sideways. Insufficient room for 2 suitcases. The room was very clean & the reception & dining room staff very helpful & friendly. The location is excellent & easy to access the major London attractions & sights. Would recommend, but a larger room option is essential for 2 people.

Only the location that sells”
The hotel is just opposite to Lancaster Gate underground station and a bus stop is at its front so the location of it sells. Pitifully, only the location is the selling point. Like all hotels in central London, it offers small but pricy rooms and this hotel is at the higher end of the price range of family-run hotels. Breakfasts, though continental, are served professionally. However, guests have to pay a suppliment if they want English instead.
