"Boffo Resort is a place we found to be absolutely amazing. The exquisite design and elegant decor are accentuated by the robust woodwork. The bridged entry over the koi pool to the lobby is a beautiful touch that, for us, was the genesis of the serenity that we experienced at Boffo Resort. The landscaping was immaculate and the pool was crystal clear, we enjoyed the view of the sea while listening to a tasteful selection of music provided by the outdoor speakers. Our room was spacious and sparkling clean. And the oversized bed was very comfortable after a day of traveling. We enjoyed the very thoughtful amenities and the convenience of the minibar. We cannot say enough about this amazing resort. The best way to understand its serenity is to book a stay and experience it for yourself! Many thanks to the professional, friendly staff for helping to make our stay one we shall remember for a lifetime. Compliments to the owners on a beautiful vision transformed to a reality."

"Loved our stay at the Cabilao beach club, very relaxing, nice wicker chairs at the beach which has some snorkeling out front. Rented the motorbike which was mt an old bike as reported by someone else, and saw the island. Concrete roads, on many sections. This hotel is on it's own, the Polaris resorts is about 15 minutes in the bike so you have to eat at the resort all the time. The food is great but a bit pricier than anywhere else we stayed in the Philippines, so are the drinks. You can find little local stores a short walk away where u can get water and beer for cheap. Massage also more expensive at 850 pesos, bike is 500 pesos for 3 hours but u don't need it fir any longer. We stayed in the economy rooms at the back of the resort which have a good air con and a fan. Closer to the road and some bike noise but quite private. Watched the fireflies at night in the trees outside our room! Also toured the deluxe rooms for for 4700 pesos or around $140 Canadian, they were beautiful, balcony with a stunning view right over the water and I think includes breakfast, would be worth the splurge. Definitely recommend this place. Have to get a bangka boat to get there but it is only 15 minutes and cost us 400 pesos to get there, easy to rent one from Moc poc pier. We paid only 250 on the way back from the villagers which are located right close to the hotel, just walk to the pier area. The hotel charges 450 pesos for transfer. Loved our stay! "

"This was a nice beach retreat after running across Bohol for few days. Cottage was clean and nice. Wifi working. Just there were problems with electricity. It went on and off. The resort has its own generator and it was on in the evenings but you would never know when they would switch it off. One day I was told it would be at 11pm - it was off at 09:30. The other day they said at 10:00, it went off at 09:15. I would recommend to advise correct time to the guests so that they can arrange things needed to be done. Beach around here is not so nice. It is full of seaweed and it is pitty that this resort and the one nextdoor don't team up and try to clean it like I saw it at other places. But good thing is snorkelling. Just short walk across the shallow water and you have so many beautiful fish and corals. One of the best snorkelling I had in the Philippines! Food is good priced and tasty. Loved it! Staff eager to help. And Estrella, the owner, is like mamma taking care about you. Would stay here again."

"The owners Edwin and Rochelle are not only Fantastic scuba instructors they run a first class intimate resort! The pricing is super reasonable, you can rent everything there and all equipment is brand new. I brought my own gear as is my personal practice and only paid 1100 paso , $ 22.00 America for two tank dive that is insanely inexpensive . I finished my advanced open water there under Edwin's professional supervision and I recommend this place to new divers there is no better place to get your open water certification and begin you scuba adventures ! This resort is off the beaten path and is the most peaceful place I have ever vacations in. If you are a part hound you take a 34.00 cab each way and you are in PARTY TOWN Alona Beach ! So no matter what your into it's I ether there or close by! I wanted to go to church and Edwin got up at 5 am to drive me now that's customer service ! "
