Not 5 star but clean and comfortable ”
Don’t expect 5 star but this place is clean very comfortable and friendly staff. Ideal Location, plenty of public car parks around the area also close to train station. Had everything you need in a hotel room, fresh clean towels, tea/coffee facilities, TV, clean cotton bedding. Room not too hot but windows did open if needed, some noise from outside and other rooms and corridors but that’s expected in any hotel. Lift was broken so a few stairs. 24 hr reception and bar was open in the evening. Continental Breakfast was included in the price, toast, cereal, fruit, cheese, tea/coffee and juice. Place needs an upgrade but don’t be fooled by the outside, this place is perfect as a base for a night out.

All the staffs I met at the reception are AMAZING. They are all very helpful. The hotel is 2 mins walk from main train station, very clean and good price. I’m happy with my stay. Will definitely return back

Having stayed a few times in Liverpool before, the prospect of staying somewhere that wasn’t one of the big names on the dock front was worrying, however I cannot stress enough how good this place is, if you’re looking for a no frills place to crash. The room itself had all the amenities you’d need, and was spotless. The bed was super comfy and the room itself was quiet, which for a Saturday night is nuts. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful, and I had a free breakfast included in the cost of the room. This place really is an unsung gem and if you’re looking for somewhere you can trust if you’re on a night out, this place should be your first and only port of call.

For the price and location this is amazing. Room was small but clean and warm. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a room close to the centre this is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel”
When other central hotels are so expensive the Lord Nelson is perfectly placed in the centre and offers great rates. Room had usual amenities you would expect and was nice and clean. Staff were very friendly too.

No frills but clean, comfy, in a handy location and lovely staff. The hallways need updating but the beds were comfy and clean, the room was big as was the bathroom. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Definitely a good choice if you're travelling on a budget.

This is not a posh hotel but it’s clean, my room was a reasonable size, the water was hot and the shower powerful. The bed was comfortable and the tv was big with lots of channels. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the lift was out of action and there was no cooked breakfast on offer. However there was plenty of choice ie cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, tea, coffee, and juices and a member of staff kindly carried my suitcase downstairs on my checkout morning. I’d definitely return here for all the positives and because it was so close to Lime Street station.
