      This Victorian guest house has a quiet riverside location in Kendal, close to the Lake District. There is free Wi-Fi throughout, and free parking is available nearby.       Lyndhurst Guest House”

      The guest house is well located both for Kendal town centre and Oxenholme train station on a quiet road near the river. I was greeted by Yvonne, who made me feel extremely welcome and provided a map of the local area and recommendations for eating and drinking during my stay. The guest house offers an excellent breakfast selection, prepared to order at your chosen time to suit all tastes and appetites. Checking in and checking out was easy and I was able to leave my luggage for a couple of hours after I had checked out. The guest house has lots of personal touches and feels very much like a home from home, just perfect for a long weekend away.
