This is a fabulous little place. During our month in Vietnam, this was the most amazing customer service we received. It's lovely, clean, good size rooms but the beautiful, friendly staff made this place more than amazing.

Good, but can be better”
Overall we are happy with the stay because it's clean and near Ninh Kieu Quay. The room decor is nice, they even have smart TV, the bathroom facilities are vintage style, which is beautiful. But the shower space is tiny, even for a girl like me. Plus point is the hotel offer good shampoo and bath gel, not the no name package. Another minus is the surrounding is a little noisy at night. It's the rain and wind, but you can hear it in the closed room, so I'm not very happy about it :( It took me a while to get used to the noise. Staffs are super helpful, they have all the services you need. I wish the coffee machine in the shop worked though, it ruined my morning! Anyway, it was still a nice stay. The cleanliness and facifilies are good compared to hotels in the area (trust me, I tried), but I still hope the hotel can improve more. I'll be happy to stay again.

Great room, Friendly staff with good location”
The room is nicely design and clean. Staff is very friendly and so nice to help me call a taxi to airport and told me that Grab is more expensive. Location is good too, just 5min walk to the main walking street with night market. Definitely recommend this hotel!

Friendly Staff and very modern room”
We really liked the Magnolia's in Can Tho. The room is really beautiful and very clean. The staff was super friendly andbooked a private boat tour on the river for us which was very convenient and easy.

Very nice and clean rooms. Staff was very accommodating. Only con was that the room was slightly tight and water would go between hot and cold, but other than that it was a comfortable stay!

Nice but quirky”
We nearly missed it, hiding away behind its coffee shop. Once in first appearances were good. The room, for three people was good sized,clean and modern. The overall concept though is a little flawed. I think it is understaffed. On our second day the room wasn't made up. When I asked why I was told not possible because the lady who did it was sick. To be fair, the boy and girl on reception duty then did their best to find us clean towels and water... but strange I needed to ask. It is unusual to have free to use washing machines on the roof - would be great for back packers on a long vacation. But the most quirky part was the cook-your-own breakfast (and do your own washing up). There is a small kitchen on the top floor, with various raw foods in a fridge plus some bread, noodles and fruit. Frankly the concept just doesn't work. It is difficult enough when only two groups are trying to use it at the same time. I can't imagine how it would work with a full hotel.

A bit of a let down”
The room and the guesthouse is tastefully designed/decorated. However, the room I was assigned on the top (5th) floor was extremely warm (heat rises + greenhouse effect from the windows). The air conditioner wasn’t that effective (it took a few hours to cool the room down, and there was no way to leave the room with the aircon on as the magnetic keycard was needed to activate electricity in the room, and the moment you take the keycard out of the slot the electricity cuts off; putting other cards in the slot didn’t work). Also, at 7am construction work at a neighbouring building started (you can hear the noise and feel the vibrations). Finally, the guesthouse no longer provides breakfast, even though at the time when I booked the room breakfast was in the listing (and stated in the invoice issued by Agoda). My guess is that Covid hit the tourism industry in Can Tho hard, and so this guesthouse has had to cut back on its amenities. The staff was helpful in calling Futabus on my behalf (I can’t speak Vietnamese) to arrange a pickup from the guesthouse for my bus trip to Saigon/HCMC.

Room is clean and bright. Magnolia’s location is very convenient to get around Ninh Kieu district. However, the loft studio is kinda small for friends that are not couple.

Great staff and lovely rooms. New hotel, stylish rooms. We were at one of the front rooms - it is on a busy street, so you can hear traffic. I'm generally fine with street noise though, so didn't have any problem. They have a washing machine available for guest use , as well as a nice kitchen and terrace. Location is central, easy to get around.

Maybe a great hotel for others but not for us”
The hotel has very small but modern hostel facilities and the local staff were very helpful and attentive. We had a few issues with requesting an early check out which was allowed but then were told later on that we had to pay for our children who stayed with us (using the same bedding etc). When I queried this I was told the additional fee was for the extra water and food (although we did not ask for extra water bottles nor did we eat there every morning). This “fee” was the same amount as the extra night we would have stayed. The way this was communicated to us did not make us feel welcome at all.

I stayed in the loft studio for one night. Love the interior design of this place. Clean and has quality fixture. Room was slightly small but for one night it wasn’t a big deal. Close to the quay.
