We were comfortable and it was economical.”

We would highly recommend the hotel to anyone planning a trip to Legoland. It was very convenient and a great price. We got breakfast for free. The food was fine but it would have been nice to have fruit and yogurt in addition. Also, it was served on styrofoam and with plastic utensils. We probably wouldn't have eaten there if it hadn't been free. We happened to be there for a Legoland parking rebate, which was a great perk.

Good location to Legoland”

The hotel was old but the rooms were nice and clean. We discovered the stem in the shower handle was stripped and the water wouldn't turn cold but the staff immediately moved our room once we notified them so it really wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was about average for a continental breakfast. All in all it was a pleasant experience for the price.

A comfortable stay.”

We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful front-desk staff member. He was also the person who guided us to the hotel when we called earlier, as we were lost. The hotel lobby is quite in need of updating. The carpeting throughout the lobby and in the elevator needs to be replaced. We were pleasantly surprised with our room, a corner suite. Very clean with fluffy pillows. Small bathroom. Fairly good breakfast - well-cooked scrambled eggs, with good, hot grits. Wish they had served turkey sausage, in addition to pork sausage. Orange juice seemed watered down. All-in-all, a pleasant one-night stay. We would stay there again.

Adequate for the type of visit.”

It was a nice stay, quiet and comfortable. We visited Legoland with family and the hotel was adjacent to Legoland and good quality restaurants as well as shopping.

Priced too high for dirty hotel room”

the door was broken, the latch was about to fall off the door, outlets did not work, smelled like mildew, ceiling leaking water, holes in the ceiling, bathroom door lock was coming off the door couldn't shut the door, pool very dirty, hot tub over heated couldn't even put my foot in, not worth the $90 spent. You would think this being one of the most expensive places next to Legoland. It would have been clean and we would have felt safe in our room. Wish I would had stayed at a major chain hotel that was 5 miles further and half the price.

Discount disappointment”

At check in the hotel had an advertisement that a discount was applicable for guests visiting Legoland would receive a room rate reduction I provided the required receipt and verification of a discount was acknowled verbally from the desk clerk. At check out the next morning I requested a receipt for room charges and the clerk refused to provide one stating that because I booked "online" she could not give me one or verify my room rate or charge that would be applied to my credit card. The discount was supposed to be $7.00 and it was never deducted from the online rate I agreed to when booking and the refusal to provide a receipt at checkout was indicative of a level of poor customer service and deceptive billing practices by the hotel.

The room I was assigned (an "upgrade" because I requested a fridge) never should have been rented in the condition it was in. I understand it's an older property, I worked at a resort that had been built in the 50s/60s for 25 hears. But my GM had a preventive maintenance program, a deep cleani g program during slow times AND he employed quality people to supervise housekeepers and check rooms before any issues could arise. The manager of this property obviously has not done these things and it shows. the bathroom: old, rusty, moldy fixtures. The toilet was very old. A gurgling noise came from the sink constantly. I could hear my neighbor's bathroom activities and when he flushed the toilet while I was showering my water suddenly turned scalding! The tiles were broken and the grout hadn't been cleaned in ages. The towels were damp and there was obvious mold along the folded part. This room had been vacant for some time. When I called to ask for new towels they didn't ask why. The bedroom area was old too. The box spring was not aligned on the frame so when my son sat on the bed it caved in. It took both of us to realign it. There was trash under the bed from previous guests. There was a layer of dust on everything. Breakfast the next morning was a joke. The bread was stale and hard. The only fruit was a bowl of bruised apples. No eggs, only carbs. (Waffles, bagels, cereal) I won't make the mistake of staying here again.

It was a pleasant stay, hotel and room was old, needs updating including the elevators. Elevators are small barely 4 people carrying luggage could fit in it. The staff were Friendly and courteous.

Close to Legoland & family dining”

Good stay. They are in the process of renovating so no fitness center, but could use Golds across the street. It is dated but the rooms are nice. It was a good value for the $

The hotel was ok but there was no hotwaterinmyroom”

The room we stayed in did not have hot water after contacting front desk the water was still not at it's average of hotness we basically showered with cold water there was not extra lock for us at night only the chain not so safe we almost had to kick open the door to get it.

The name needs to be updated on agoda website to Econo Lodge/Quality Inn I was under the impression that I was staying in a different hotel and if I would’ve known it was the Econo lodge I wouldn’t have booked the room because of the experience we had the first time we stayed. We did have a better experience this time. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave us a lot of information and we were able to get extra towels. But I did find 4 cockroaches in the bathroom in the room! The shower and sink had hair stuck along the sides and there was a huge cob webb above our bed so the house keeping staff is not doing a great job keeping the rooms thoroughly clean!
