Great resort for couples and families. Very friendly and accommodating staff, made us a vegan dinner when the kitchen was already closed. Garlic rice for 30 and fries for 60 pesos respectively.

Dirty, I got after one month stay to the hospital, ear infection from the swimming pool with a high chlorine. A pool without filter. Room cleaning is not daily. Shower almost no pressure. Super high prices for tasteless food. Almost 2 km from the mean road. Never mentioned at the website. 25 min. With the bus to Dumaguete

Very dirty, No service, No Wifi”
Location is so far plus the Staff are not accommodating or easily accessible. Bathroom is so dirty, not cleaning at all plus the room has many obvious animal poops on the ground. The room is hotter than outside.

If you can even find this place, you will receive the e in economy. share the bed without mattress with thousands of ants and cockroaches, shiver to use the dirty common shower/toilet facilities without shoes on etc. the fan in the room will only make you sweat more. and one important thing. bring water etc before you come. this minus star establishment will charge you unheard of prices for anything you need, be it food or drink. for instance 250 pesos for a hamburger when you get two for one for 30 pesos on the main road a mile away. Due to guests feeling ripped off and not returning, the owner has posted the place for sale for a price at least 20 times higher than its worth. I recommend sleeping in dumaguete 15 kilometers away, and head back in the daytime if you need anything in that town.

Never again a waste of money ”
Almost 2 Km walk from the street dirty swimming pool and no filter. Went later to the hospital .ear infection from the dirty water and a high concentration of chlorine. Never again. Food price's over paid and totally tasteless. Glass of milk one week 100 pesos a week later 150.I have still the bills Dirty rooms and never cleaned, only if you ask. Many dirty animals plus dog shot in the front off the room

Fake advertisement, the place showing a beautiful and sirene swimming pool and found out it is a public use resort, room are dirty and dingy. Very disappointing.. We did not stay that place at all.

My holiday in Mahogany Upland Resort”
Mahogany Upland Resort is very quite and relaxing place,just 2kilometers from Dauin Marine Sanctuary; but they have a motorcyle rental for very affordable price: they served good homemade organic,delicious food and refreshing drink in there bar and restaurant: I like it here because after i have my meals i can enjoy a good wine; they always have stock of good selection of drinks that you can choose from: if you are vfood egetarian they will cook food special for you: they also have laundry service: Very nice place for affordable prices: they staff and owner is very friendly and accomodating; i will come back to this place next time i will visit Dauin;

it was our first time in Dumaguete and we had so much fun. a big part of it was our stay in Mahogany Upland Resort. if you are looking for a resort that is away from the city, away from the noise.. this is the place to be. they are currently constructing a pool so wait for it. definitely going back.

Went to Duine for one reason only, diving. Been looking for a cheap accommodation in the area. Mahogany upload resort was just what I needed! This resort is very new so you have a comfy bed and pillows. Those guys provided me even with transport to the dive centre and back. Super friendly Cjay behind the bar will sort you out with a great pina-colada and cheeky chat. I spent a week there and think I should have stayed a little longer! Loved it every minute! I must come back when the pool will be ready :)

Pleasant stay”
Big pool, great restaurant and not too expensive. The only thing that was not great with this place was the location, it's like 1,5 km from the center of Dauin. Very easy to just rent a motorbike and you can get there quickly if you don't wanna spend all day at the pool. Would highly recommend this place.

Super friendly staff, quite location and a perfect base to visit Twin Lakes, Apo and Dumaguete. We stayed in the big room which was very clean and matched all our needs. Would recommend highly.

Amazing quiet and safe place and affordable ”
Nice place owned by an American, very friendly. Staff is so nice and helpful. Place is clean and has an amazing huge pool! Quiet and peaceful. Food is good with big portions and not included, you have to pay but reasonable prices. Security guard all night. A little bit far from the city but you can rent a scooter. Best way to see what's around anyway. Recommend it very much!

Far from the road, quiet, good food”
The road at night is dark and far so have to take a habal habal, fan room is ok, toilet was smelly when we arrived, the food at the bar was good and reasonable price, guard was attentive, the place is enclosed in sugarcane plantation and not well lit but overall it is a good place for peace and quiet

Nice quiet place ”
If u want to enjoy the holiday and just wanna be quiet, the Mohegany is a good choice. It's about 1.5Km far always from the main , but if u wanna go out , they can take u to main road by motor for free, or u just go out side there are lots motor pass by. There is a big swimming pool, and green garden, you don't even go anywhere just enjoyed there. And don't worry about food , nice restaurant and bar there. Even u want to book the APO tour or diving , they offer the diving service there.

Bad value for money”
Pros The pool Cons Far from everything Expensive food No aircon Noisy faan No mirror Low standard No schampoo or soap Dirty Expensive motorcycle rental Everything at this resort is 50 to 100% more expensive than normal. They have transportation to the main road, but at charge 50 to 100% more than normal. We did choose one of the more expensive alternatives and still very low standard. Cost of room was 1100 php, normally this standard and location should cost 400 to 500 php. Stay in Dumaguete instead, better value and rent a motorcycle in Dumaguete. Probably the owner recently raised the prices ro finance the new pool.
