A beautiful and relaxing hotel with an amazing beach and pool to relax on ”
This resort is really a great place to stay if you want a relaxing holiday. The infinity pool overlooks their private beach, which is really clean and peaceful. The public beaches seem quite busy) The staff are friendly and looked after us really well . We used the spa and both enjoyed treatments on the beach. The restaurant was perfectly placed on the beachfront for Vietnamese and western food... we only ate Vietnamese and enjoyed all their options, breakfast was great, fresh omelettes and pancakes .. fresh fruit juice etc.. We were lucky to have a beautiful room not far from the pool area, but all the rooms are well located and detached, so you have lots of privacy and space. It all felt very relaxed. Phu Quoc is quite a busy place but Mai House is a great place to escape the mass tourism

Perfect stay in Phu Quoc”
No negative point for me during my stay in Mai House Resort. Very affordable, excellent comfort for the price you pay. The bungalows are nice, large with a private terrace where you can relax in the nice garden or seaview. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Whatever you need, they will help you as much as they can. All necessary amendities, either in the room or the whole resort are provided. Good shower, good internet connection...perfect spot direct on the beach. Nice swimming pool. Restaurant on the beach. The food was ok. Good location. If you need a motorbike, just ask the reception and they will arrange one for you. Unfortunately, I had to check out earlier than expected to return to Saigon but will be staying there again on my next trip to Phu Quoc

We started our trip to Vietnam with 4 nights at the Mai House Resort to help us recover from our journey. The resort is wonderfully situated on a quiet stretch of beach, yet within easy walking distance of other amenities on the beach and the main road. The room was quiet and comfortable, the pool very relaxing, the food was quite good and the beach beautiful. There very many good restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk from the resort should you wish to eat elsewhere. A taxi into the town (about a 5 minute drive) cost approximately $2 Cdn., and is worthwhile to check out the night market, especially for the food.

We went to this hotel last year and loved it so much returned for another 2 weeks getting home last night This place is so relaxing and peaceful from its own private beach to a lovely infinity pool over looking it You can lay by the pool and hear a pin drop and just the sound of the birds etc Whilst the rooms are basic with such a beautiful setting how much time do you spend in the room Wh needs tv and phones in the room If you do the WiFi is free and very good Some of the sun beds round the pool need some TLC but ask and it will be done The rooms are basic but each. Evening the maids come round and light a candle in room, drop down the net round the bed and also a candle on the patio Breakfast overlooking the beach is lovely with plenty of choice The hotel is within easy walking distance of shops bars and restaurants but set back from m the main road and private hence the relaxing atmosphere In the last 2 weeks we have had no rain at all during the day

Beautiful property, great bungalows, infinity pool on the best beach. The breakfast is excellent. The staff is professional and courteous. Nga Ngo and the kitchen staff are great with meals and pool side service. Management and security friendly and professional. Great spot. Will definitely stay here again!

Very clean place with beautiful access to the beach. Private sunbirds, never overloaded. We loved it and extended our stay. Restaurant is very delicious and all staff are absolutely helpful and friendly. If you like party just walk 200m on the beach to the left and right and you find beach bars. Frisuren it is not a five star. Ideally recommend it.

Probably the only peaceful and landscaped resort in the middle of the most crowded beach of Phu Quoc. So a perfect place if you want to enjoy both the the relaxing atmosphere of a real resort, its nice swimming pool, its private beach and the activities around. Nice and simple bungalows which would deserve some works of renovation. Pleasant restaurant on the beach.

Lovely place, calm and relaxing. Very nice with the pool and private beach. Has a very nice SPA. This is the place to be as the hotels around are not as nice and the beach on both sides are very crowded. Locaded near lots of restaurants within walking distance and 8 min in to Duong Dong.

Great Location, facilities and beach front, Would recommend!”
In all our stay at Mai House was very good, our check in at 2am was done swiftly which was very handy considering the time. Our room had a great view over looking the pool and beach. Rooms were clean and fairly modern apart from a few things including dodgy power points which didn't make sometimes a good connection. Bathrooms was okay, hotel supplied soaps and other ammenities which was nice. Rooms also had modernish air con which was good considering the climate in January. Mosquito nets were also provided. Towels were also replaced daily included free cocktails which was nice. Hotel provided food and drinks. Selection was very good including some western food as opposed to the Vietnamese food. Service on the beach front was at times quite average and they failed to occasionally take back used plates and glasses. Apart from that dinner over looking the water or inside the building was very nice and food was nice and consistent. To finish , great beach front, pool, food and drinks

Wonderful, even in a monsoon”
We came in late September at the tail end of monsoon season, but still had a great time, in part because of Mai House. We had arrived very early on a flight and wanted to check in early to sleep. Check-in is something like noon or a little bit before, but the hotel staff quickly cleaned up the rooms and let us check in early, around 9:15. We very much appreciated this! The breakfast menu was average, but came with a beautifully decorated plate of fruits and very attentive restaurant staff. On one occasion, we opted to skip the free breakfast and purchase lunch items instead (they happily accommodated us even though it was 8:00 am). That was one of the best meals we had on the island! Then on our last night in Phu Quoc, we were drenched coming back from the Night Market, and the hotel sent someone out with umbrellas to greet us and accompany us down the paved road in rain water a foot high. We felt really bad for the person who had to come fetch us, but this was just yet another example of the wonderful customer service. Considering how many beachside resorts are available on this island with easy access to the beach, customer service really made all the difference for us.

An absolute gem on the beautiful beaches of Phu Quoc! ”
Beautiful little bungalows- clean and great AC and fan. Private beach access is a must on this island. We considered staying in another bungalow that was not directly on the beach (to save money) but we are so glad we splurged for Mai House because their beach access was delightful and we did not have to pay for and search for a beach chair for the day. Loved going back and forth from the beach to the amazing Infinity Pool that overlooked the gulf. At night they have an open grill with fresh seafood on the beach, tables in the sand. Free cocktail from 4-5pm was a great way to get guests to the beach for the breathtaking sunsets! This is one of the only places in Vietnam where you can watch the sun set over the water. :) Breakfast is great- mostly fruit, yogurt, breads and then made to order egg dishes, crepes and noodle bowls. Mosquito nets and mosquito repellant oil in the rooms at night were a nice touch and we did not get bit in the room-- outside was more buggy, to be expected. We absolutely LOVED our stay here- was our favorite experience of our 2 weeks spent in Vietnam. We would definitely come back again if we found ourselves so lucky to be on Phu Quoc again. One note- they are in the process of literally constructing this resort so expect some construction noise and activity. Nothing so severe that it distracts from the beauty though. We stayed Nov 23-25, 2016.
