Location is near residential houses and a bit far from beach but they have free shuttle that can take you to the beach. Room is clean and spacious plus staffs are nice and accommodating. They also have pool so I think this is sulit!

Our overall stay there is pleasant and i love how the rooms are arranged 💜 the view is very calming because you can see the sunset from your door and window 💕 The staff is also helpful. You just need to look for the exact place and memorize it because it’s not pinned on google maps exactly. If you want a very chill and relaxing stay, this place is for you. It’s also cheap compared to the hotels so I will definitely go back here.

We lost a bracelet. Noodle in the kettle.”
Overall stay was mm okay. They only use flat sheets, no comforter. Sink height was incorrect. They used island type sink where a separate sink is placed on top of a counter, which is high already. Making the full sink height way too high for users. Toilet shower curtains are dirty. I don't think they replace them? We lost a bracelet. We went out early morning one day and came back later to find out one bracelet we bought from an island hopping is missing. I am sure that it was placed on the table beside my cap before we left. The housekeeping is not in house. They leave at 5pm. Toiletries are not included. We also had to ask for a kettle which they forgot to put in our room. To our surprise, after boiling water, there was a noodle that came out of the kettle. Somebody probably used it to cook food. Place overall is nice to stay at. Some rooms are used for long term guests. They also have FREE Shuttle Service (black tricycle) going from resort to Alona Beach (One way) 8am-5pm. Pool is nice. They are however strict with the balcony lights. The guard will ask you to go back and turn it off even if your about to exit the property. Towels smell like smoke from burning leaves. There's 2 complimentary water and coffee per night of stay. Overall, price is good for the place.

There was one review very negative. My experiance is different. The first flight is 8:30 am and last one is about 8 pm, so no problem. Who did not like the noise of dogs and chicken should not travel to Philippiens, this sound you have everywhere. Staff is friendly and experianced. It's not in the center so you need a tricycle for 100 PHP. but when you compare this room rate with others in the center, you can buy a lot of tricycle trips.

We went 2 days after Odette and they still had no electricity. The resort is in a great location near Alona beach and Mist restaurant. Good location especially if you have a self drive car. Just wish they had told us that the generator was only running 3hrs per day but under the circumstances this was ok. There were some minor issues like water damage to the cabinets inside the bathroom and dirty/moldy curtains. But bed was comfy and staff was great. Air conditioner was cold when electricity was on. Pool was nice and enjoyable.

We spend few nights there. Everything seemed to be great. Kind and helpful staff. Free shuttle-transport to Alona centre. Great swimming pool. Comfortable and clean room with big balcony.Tasty breakfast. Safe and located just up to 10min from Alona beach. Unfortunately some things ruined our stay. We give hotel owners a chance to change something in future. Malinawon Resort is surrounded by local houses. It is very common and no one should complain, however situation is different if bedroom window is facing loud (really loud) music serving sometimes all day long starting at 5:30/6:00AM,along with noise coming from side workshop building boats. I note this is not the hotel's fault and local people need to live and work,but simple arrangement between hotel and neighbours to keep certain hours as quiet would simply let guests sleep a bit. Talking about extra noise. Some guests also didn't respect others in late night and ruined night rest. Management should quickly and definitely react.
