Great Location - minutes from the nearest metro entrance Great Rooms - Big Room with nice city view :) Great Service - English speaking staffs who are very helpful + fantastic facilities / restaurants Pricey though ... But considering the above, worth pampering of one self :)

A bit overrated ”
The fact that some luxury hotels still think it’s okay to charge for internet is ridiculous. We booked our stay rather last minute so when we were showed up our room wasn’t ready for early check-in (understandable of course). There was another room that was seemingly indistinguishable from the one that we booked that was available and it was $90 US more per night. Instead of just upgrading us as most courteous hotels would, they offered to sell us the upgrade; so after already paying $1200 a night, we were sold a room that was ready on time and then sold wifi. It did not feel like a nice welcome at all. That said, the concierge staff was excellent. They helped us nab several sought-after reservations. The hotel lobby was beautiful and awesome. The room was very standard.

説明が足りないかも”
初めての滞在でした。母の誕生日祝いにと、事前にメッセージカードを部屋に置いておくお願いをしましたが、されていませんでした。気を遣いながらフロントに申し出るのに疲れました。パジャマも事前にお願いしみしたが、確認できたのが浴衣で、帰る時に、目立たない引き出しの中にあるのを見つけてしまいました。これは本当にがっかりしました。コーヒーメーカーと、電気ポットの電源の入り方がマニアックすぎて夜までわからず、意を決して聞いたら解決しました。使い方は説明書を置くだけで解決することなのに、それがされていないのは不思議です。高級ホテルなので申し出るこちらがすごく気を遣い、結果疲れました。日本のホテルではないからかな？と自分に言い聞かせました。よい勉強になりました。

Wi-Fiの接続確認を電話で尋ねた時、まだ話が終わっていないのに、一方的に話を遮られたので、すみませんが話を聞いて頂けますかと言ったら、一方的電話を切られてしまいました。私自身は普通に静かに話していたので、驚きと共に呆気取られましたが、落ち着いた後まず有り得ない事と思い、コンシェルジュに伝えたところ、陳謝を受けました。チェックアウト後の翌日に客室係の方から、再度の陳謝と共に一度電話で話をさせて欲しいので話ができる日程を尋ねるメールを受け取りました。日程と時間を明記して返信をしましたが、その後音沙汰はありませんでした。形だけの対応ならば寒々しい気持ちを与えるだけです。後日滞在したウェスティン東京と椿山荘では肌身に感じる親身なサービスの対応を頂きました。マンダリンオリエンタル東京さんへの再滞在はないと思います。

都内での質の高い休息に最適”
そもそも香港のマンダリンオリエンタルの大ファンでした。自宅は都内ですが、羽を伸ばせる時間が出来たので、滞在してみました。地方に温泉旅行や観光旅行に行くより、質が高くゆったり出来る空間を体験し、サービスの質の良さも相俟って日本のマンダリンも大ファンになりました。また、時間が出来たら時々利用させて頂こうと考えてます。

全体的に素晴らしかったですがバスタブが大きな卵型で深さもありゆったり入れました ただシャワーの元栓の扱いが難しかったのと歯ブラシのみで歯磨きがなかった古都が難点でした

五星級飯店費用亂算”
我們這次有四位入住，住四間房，期間有三人使用了 SPA，但是退房時，飯店算了四人SPA的費用，我們沒有使用任何 MINI BAR的東西，但是飯店也算了費用，建議一定要核對帳單，不過，這種錯誤不應該發生在「日本的五星級飯店」，我認為是一個很嚴重的錯誤
