We've stayed several times in Mango Valley Hotel 1 and 2. For this recent trip, I booked two rooms in Mango Valley 2 because it was requested by my brother who would be celebrating his birthday. I also booked this hotel because it was "available" in Agoda. A few days before our actual trip, I sent Mango Valley (Facebook) a message regarding our room request (2 single beds). I even included the details of our Agoda confirmation indicating that we will be staying in Mango Valley 2. My message was only seen and there was no reply. When we arrived, we were surprised that the hotel was unavailable. Walang tao. We are not sure if it was being renovated. The guy who was there called their management and informed us that we will be upgraded instead to Mango Valley 5. We did not like the initial rooms that were given to us because there was no internet signal and it was a bit dirty/dusty. Later we were transferred to another room. The staff were actually friendly and always assisted us with our concerns. But next time, I hope the management (both Agoda and Mango Valley) would be more honest about the status of the posted rooms. We were not informed in advance and even when we sent a message. No one even apologized. This is the first time that we experienced this. Hope that they'll improve in their customer service.

Location: great! Walking distance to banks, some restaurant, which you gotta try daishou japanese resto that's very affordable and walking distance to harbor point. Wifi: strong! Didn't have any problems with the connection. And since the TV in the room was a smart one, you can connect your Netflix. Room: big! So was the bathroom. Clean. With shower heater too. Cold AC. What I liked is that we had our own garage. Yes garage not just a parking spot. Breakfast: limited choices but hey it's still worth the price. Overall we had a great stay! I'd come back to this place.

Better than the others”
Pros: 1) Walking distance to Waterfront Rd, Royal Mart, few blocks to Harbor Point Ayala. MV1 is just at the back of Seorabel Hotel. 2) Cozy wooden inspired big room, cold AC, fast wifi, big TV w/ cable, ample parking, quiet location 3) Unli breakfast combination (delicious) Cons: 1) Can hear footsteps of guests upstairs due to wooden flooring 2) Allows smoking within the hotel premises (i.e. hallway w/ tables and ash trays). There should be designated smoking area away from common areas 3) Mango Valley 2 is used as OWWA Quarantine Facility so the hotel mgt transferred our booking to Mango Valley 1

No Fuss Hotel”
Great location. Rooms were bigger than usual and I liked the furniture. The room had all the amenities we needed - even a small refrigerator. The bed linen was clean and in good condition. The towels could be improved, though. MV will always be our 1st choice hotel in Subic.

The negatives would be a novel”
It started off bad when I had to change to 3 different rooms in order to get one with adequate air-conditioning and internet. Then 3-4 days later I go out about 7:30-8am to meet a friend for breakfast and when I return around 11:30 am I am told I need to quickly change hotels because they are going to fumigate the hotel. Like they just woke up that morning and decided to do it!!! What a joke. Mango Valley has 4-5 hotels in the area and to my surprise I ended up having to visit two new ones that day because the first one they sent me to did not having a working internet. Naturally it took them 4 hours of my day to finally decide their cheap pocket WIfi's were not going to work. I am talking about at best 1/2MB speed if that. After 5 hours of my day wasted by this circus they did comp my dinner. Never again for me. BEWARE!!!

Transferred”
Since Mango Valley 2 is unavailable as of this writing we were transferred to Mango Valley 5 and the two rooms we got are way smaller from we paid for (28 sqm) and the smart tv is unstable and very hassle as you need to reconnect and enter the voucher code from time to time. Another issue is the way the rooms are built so there is a main door with a "lounge/kitchen area" and it connects to three rooms so its very awkward if you run to each other and defeats the purpose of privacy and security if all rooms are occupied by different guests

Quarantine ”
Never again!!! Staff is really hard to find, called the lobby No answer!!! So if you need to get Quarantine look for other hotels. Hard to get drinking water!!! Coming in late no food to order make sure to utilize your internet to order your food.. I've been waiting for hours at the parking lot to look for the staff ( No one answering the phone) and all the lights are off in the hallway and the lobby. I strongly suggest to look for other hotels for Quarantine, I've paid too much for it's worth during the Quarantine procedure.

We always travel to subic to relax and stsying at mango valley is always a perfect combo for relaxation. You wont find any hotel below 3k with around 40+ sqm hotel room usually its being offered 5k up. Although it doesnt have any facility except for its resto/dinning area but still all worth every cent!

Convenient ”
Location- 1 and a half blocks to Harbor Point Mall. Easy and safe walk. One block from Royal store-groceries,snacks,liquor,etc. Beach is half a mile away but beachfront isn’t that clean. Not recommended for swimming. Restaurants on the beach are good like Gerry’s and Coco Lime. No need for a car. Hotel staff- Excellent! Very nice, accommodating and efficient. Hotel Breakfast-Included. Average. I don’t eat breakfast so just a visual impression. Hotel Room- Clean, no bugs! Linens are clean. WiFi-terrific. Street noise from traffic at night until about midnight. Did not bother me too much. AC noise bothersome if you live it on during the night. I turned it off to sleep and the room stayed cool. This was in mid January. Hot days, cool nights. Enjoyed my stay at the Freeport zone. Tons of good restaurants and shopping. Beaches not that great. Lovely people at the hotel!

Exceeded Expectations ”
We were just looking for a place that was for an overnight stay. I was a little apprehensive of booking first but I was pleasantly surprised by the place. It’s SO spacious. High ceilings, extra space sit, closet you can walk in. Bathroom is also so clean. Water pressure is good. Heating system is great. Overall, such a good place for the price Breakfast was good. It wasn’t buffet but eat all you can by ordering which dish you like. I actually preferred it as it meant we can all get dishes we wanted. Only con we didn’t like that the extra pillows we requested smelled like food. It bothered us a bit but the main pillows were fine. Great place and i think better than the Mango Valley 1 and 2 from the outside :)

It was our first time to spend overnight in Subic and just chanced upon this hotel while browsing thru Agoda. My expectation was not set that high. So to my surprise, the hotel was clean, staff were very accommodating and friendly & buffet breakfast was good. It was just walking distance from the new Royal Duty Free & Harbour Point Mall. Will be back again. :)

Great location near Royal Duty Free and Harbor Point. Friendly, good service and accommodating staff. Rooms are big and clean except for the red ants in the bathroom and in some areas of the room. Over all we had a good stay and will book again in Mango Valley 2.

Mango Valley 2 is the one beside Grand Hoyah Hotel. Its near the waterfront and Harborpoint. The rooms are big and beds are spacious.

Audax competitor last September 17, 2016. They were kind enough to let usbring our bikes up the room, even after the races when we were wet and muddied. Thank mango valley.
