Magnificent Mantenga!”
I loved my 3 night stay here. The restaurant has the best view of the mountains and is a wonderful place to have dinner and drinks at sunset. The buffet breakfast has a large selection, the WiFi is strong, the surroundings are peaceful, and the staff are lovely. Highly recommend!

I visit Eswatini for business purposes once a year and this was the third time I stayed at Mantenga Lodge. I just love the ambiance and when at the lodge it always feel as if I am on holiday and not on a business trip. The rooms are always neat and clean and the food and service are very good.

Smelly rooms, grumpy employees, bad breakfast for the money you pay”
Our room was extremely smelly and damp upon our arrival, and it stayed that way. We have been put in a room at the bottom of the hotel, that you needed to enter through another gate so if they send you there, your room will be smelly aswell, just ask for a room by the main area above the restaurant, maybe they are better. Cleaning staff are extremely polite, smiling and friendly. But can't say the same about the restaurant staff. They don't care, and they don't hide that they don't care. Breakfast is meat heavy, no vegetables. At the reception they told us they can cater for vegetarian, just ask what you need and they will make it for you. But everytime we asked, we had to deal with a grumpy employee. There is a sign that says they can toast bread for you. We asked for it, they said ok but it never arrived. Before leaving we said "No need for toast, we are done eating now." answer was "Ok."... Dinner was delicious and the male employees in the restaurant were all very friendly aswell

Must stay place when in Swaziland!”
We totally loved our 2 night stay at Mantenga Lodge. Easy to find slightly hidden away in a beautiful garden. Very scenic place with amazing views from the restaurant. Breakfast abundant and delicious and dinner was a delight as well. Great value for money all around! Staff is extremely kind and helpful. All in all the place makes you feel like you never want to leave. WiFi is a bit unstable especially in the room.

Loved staying at Mantenga Lodge. The Chalets offered beautiful views as did the outdoor dining space. Great food and service. Conveniently located in the middle of many of the valleys best activities. We will definitely be back to stay again.

Good Value, Great Views, Friendly Staff”
We stayed just one night at Mantenga Lodge on our way across Swaziland to South Africa's Kruger Park. It was a very convenient stopover and we were pleased with all the great shopping nearby. The hotel has magnificent views of the nearby mountains and a very nice pool area. I think much of the clientele are group bookings but it was very quiet the night we were there. The restaurant is very nice and the outdoor terrace overlooking the mountains is lovely. The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Matenga Lodge. We played golf at Ngonyeni and at Royal Swazi. The staff was very good and friendly the room was small but very neat and clean.

Reasonable value for money”
The lodge is one of the most affordable ones in the Ezulweni Valley. However the rooms are very small, especially the bathroom. The shower floor were covered with mildew and black fungi, it was horrible to use. The shower floor is flat and the water floods the one side, causing a dam of water in the shower. The water splashes all over the place due to poor design and only a shower curtain (creepy to say the least). Make sure you take slops with to shower and some anti fungal cream to be safe. We stayed in the King Solomon rooms, which are supposedly the best but we were somewhat disappointed. No small refrigerator which is a no-no for the star rating and price. If the person next door moves you feel and hear it on the shared wooden floor, even their TV and talking is very audible, very little privacy thus. Unfortunately the open deck area of the restaurant is within about 15 meters from the rooms and the buzzing of the patrons kept us awake until after 22:00 every night when the restaurant finally closed. There was some dog that must be the size of a horse that barked throughout the night in the neighborhood. Maybe we were unfortunate but the weekend stay was disappointing, and we will rather pay extra next time and stay somewhere else. The only positive point is the restaurant which exceeded expectations in comparison to the accommodation.

Can't say enough great things about the people who worked here. We arrived very late, and dinner closed in 15mins. We felt bad asking if we could order something and that we could take it to our room. The staff said there was no problem and we should eat at the restaurant. They were so generous. Can't believe how nice they were. For this reason alone, I would highly recommend this place. The people are totally worth coming here for. Not to mention, the steak and wine was incredible. Beautiful views in the morning for breakfast. The room was fine, nothing fancy, but everything else really made the night and morning breakfast very pleasant. Definitely would come back here. Thank you so much.

our stay was pleaseant,the breakfast was good and the staff are friendly and helpful. the rider haggard bathrooms do need an upgrade and we had an unpleasnt welcome when we were told that the rooms we had booked through agoda were singlely and not double booked rooms when there were four people in our party and had to compromise with the hotel and settle the outstanding amount.not the best way to start your vacation!!!!!!!
