This is a wonderful whimsical place to stay. It's great for families and can accommodate large meetings. The service is friendly. The rooms are adequate and clean as the price it's reasonable. If you ever have reason to go to Pinan, this is the place to stay

great resort for relaxation and serenity”
the resort is great, but the location is out of no where... its not even well known (Pinan) and very far.. the hotel rooms are great but the floor plan of the room and toilet are not standard.. the toilet is a little bit small.. and when we were there the toilet lavatory is clogged up.. but their swimming pools are great... and they offer pool for guest only. also.. there should be someone guarding people from entering the place or pools for guest only because sometimes the people who just went there just to swim will enter the place for check in guest only thus it will disturb the privacy of check in guest. other than that the resort is really great.

My stay at Manuel Resort has been perfect. The room was spotlessly clean. And nicely appointed. If your a family with younger children I highly recommend this place. There is so much for children to see and do. My only fault I have was the preparation of food. It often was served cold . Maybe they should think of serving pizzas . But aside from that I love this place.

Food was tasty, a bit expensive for what you get. 2 restaraunts but serve the same small menu. portions could be bigger for price. fitness room and games room came with additional charges. Surly this should be free for staying guests. All food and drinks are subject to 10% service charge which makes already expensive food more so. The staff are the people that make it. Some of the best i have met on my travels in asia. I would normally tip staff everyday but service charge and high prices meant i didnt. The owner needs to look at this. All the staff deserve a pay rise. They make your buisness the place it is for a low wage. A beautiful place but with just a little change here and there could be so much better. I thank the staff for making my stay so wonderful. Pay rise please.

The best place to go just outside Dipolog. 3stars”
This is by far the best place I been to, very good for all types of visitors. The claim is that it is a 2 star, well i rate it more than just 2 stars. The only thing I have to say that was negative was that there was no Internet for the whole stay of 2 days. WIFI was ok and signal was strong to the room but router had no internet service provider connection what so ever. Called every 6 hours about it but no fix, I don't know if they know how to fix it or if the problem was on the ISP end or their end, anyhow internet or not this place is amazing and is large and amazing. Beautiful is the word for this place, and it has a lot of pools and bars, etc. A MUST TO VISIT AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We stayed here for 5 days and thoroughly enjoyed the resort.it's grounds are kept immaculately, the service was excellent, and the amenities were great.I enjoyed using the pool and walking the grounds.This it's definitely s destination with visiting.

Good place for family with children. Many pools and place to enjoy. For the family room, there is a water tank, but hot water doesn't work. We also booked twin room, so we could share the hot water cooker.

The meals were brought out warm not hot breakfast was cold and the menu didn't cater for the international gusts quite disappointed but the facility's were excellent the room wasn't what we thought we were getting all in all wouldn't stay there again

Noisy guests and extra to use facilities ”
Told to pay 599 peso extra per night for 9 year old. Noisy guests at 11pm and when l complained they got louder. Woken up with non stop heckling laughter. Extra to use the games room and 10% service charge for all food. If your a tourist stay away as locals try to intimidate you with constant noise during bedtime making you extremely tired during the day. On the upside the grounds were immaculate, staff are very friendly and the sweet chilli crab was the best l ever tasted. Unfortunately the noise and extra money you pay leaves a bad taste in your mouth
