Perfect staycation ”
Great food, breakfast was great tasty and nicely served. Rooms were big and clean and modern. We liked that housekeeping was avail all day and staff would also go around during the day to clean the balcon area. During the week it’s perfect more quiet but the weekends weren’t so bad. Beach is clean, shore and coast are ok.. plenty of nearby things to do (surfing classes, kayak in the resort for free, grape picking) and many filipino restaurants were near! Would definitely stay here again. Staff can further be trained but they were very helpful friendly and prompt to respond, will definitely come back here again!

Our room did not have the free wifi that was given from the front desk. It would be nice if all listed connections were available and working.

Staff is really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast food has limited options but taste is pretty good. Other menu items in the restaurant tastes pretty decent as well. The hotel is beautiful but facilities-wise the rooms can use a bit of maintenance and upgrade (e.g. leaky shower fixtures, erratic water heater, broken cabinet hinges here and there, and some smelly floor drains in the room). They also were not able to provide us with working hair dryers. The beach here is much more swimmable than in San Juan which was a huge plus. I just wish Marand would invest in some beach furniture for guests to lounge in, as well as manpower for regular beach clean up. There's so much litter and dog poop in the beach front-- such a shame because the beach itself is really nice and swimmable.

We’re from Manila and tried to book this beach resort to celebrate our valentines day with my boyfriend. Here are my pros and cons: Pros 1. Food is really great and awesome presentation. 2. Pets friendly! Though pets are not allowed to this resort but you will see cats and dogs around the beach resort. 3. Staff are courteous. Cons 1. No complimentary slippers. No free toothbrush so you have to bring your own. 2. Our bedsheet wasn’t clean and has a lot of stains. 3. My boyfriend arranged a dinner date last Valentine’s eve. He was not assisted on where will we stay. No one assisted us. Good thing I found my name on the table that was reserved for us. I didn’t feel that it was a date ‘coz they have occupied all the sits in front and it looks very crowded!

2nd time at marand”
The first time we stayed at Marand was great thats why we came back to this resort. Unfortunately, our 2nd time here was not as pleasant as the first one. The beach was not as clean The room was clean but the shower head needs to be cleaned or maintained The breakfast buffet is now a controlled buffet. You can only comeback for seconds for rice not the viand Beacause there we cats in the resort, you could smell their poop from the pool Beds were comfy and staff were accommodating even when we checked in late If youre planning to have dinner at their resto you have to book it in advance if not youll have very little to no choice The were roads closed when we went there which did make things convenient but not their fault
