If you're in bohol, Marcelina's guesthouse is the perfect stay for you. When we arrived to Bohol, their rooms is very convenient and we were so comfortable in our stay. Their staffs were all good and you have an easy way to book your flight because they're also booking flights and trips back home. You'll not have any problems in that.

Very good transit place”
I traveled with my teenagers and preteen and since our main goal is to explore Bohol and not really hang out in a resort, we opted to stay in an affordable place where we can just crash at night. Marcelina's had rooms that were spacious so kids did not feel confined, clean bathroom, a small common room where people can dine, and cook. It's right across the airport drive so my kids and I just walked from the airport. The receptionist was very accommodating and also booked our ferry tickets for a small service fee. It is near the town center so just 1 tricycle ride to buy necessities and still far from the chaos of the town so it's still quiet. There's a laundry shop right across the street who will accommodate rush laundry.

Pros -very near to airport. Actually walking distance lang. 2-3mins walk only. Ang tarush. Sana sa lahat ng airport may ganitong guesthouse na mura at malapit lang talaga. -you can use their kitchen to cook, sofa to watch tv, common cr kung madami kayo at nagmamadali. (May private cr naman sa room na nirent namin) - staff are accomodating and always has a big smile :) - value for money. Cons - none so far. Will stay here again pagbalik namin ng bohol.

A nice three star hotel with cooking facilities”
We were given a nice room, with AC, hot water and satellite TV. The location of the guesthouse is quite far from the seaport terminal but only cost 20 pesos to get there. The hotel arranges trip to Chocolate hills, Loboc river and other attractions but rather expensive. When we stayed in Alona beach, there were many tours to the same attraction but cheaper. I would suggest for visitors to stay in Panglao Island and make day trips to Chocolate hills etc etc. From the guesthouse to the bus terminal in front of the city mall is about 3 km away, so it was rather far.

For the tours, yes there are others that are cheaper compared to us since we're DOT Accredited & we just want to ensure your safety while travelling. Also, just a piece of advice, just be careful in choosing a transportation as there are others considered as "colorum".
Location wise and good value for money”
I was surprise that this place was only 30 steps away from Tagbilaran Airport. hehe! The staff was very accommodating and friendly as we arrived the place at very late then the staff call me twice for confirmation of our booking and I booked a room with double bed that was good for couple and we upgraded into a room good for 3 with no additional payment. I think that's why the staff called me before our arrival well that was not a prob. for me. I think they should make some renovations of their room as it was smell old as we enter but overall the place was good for value of money and location wise.

At first we thought that we wont be happy a out stay at marcelinas guesthouse since its facade is uninviting. Once we entered and checked in with one of their friendly staff, i knew we would be enjoying our stay there. We rented out the barkadahan room which is good enough for us which is group of six people. I love theire bed, their comfort room is clean not that spacious but at least its clean. This hotel is one block away from the airport and that makes us happier

If you want to save money Near to airport this hotel is good for you room is spacious But hotel need to have a generator if there is a blockout like when i stay there with my family But they arrange me to transfer in other hotel that there is a generator with no extra charge and That is great for me.

Just few steps from Tagbilaran airport, perfect location if you need to catch an early flight. Aircon was quite bad that we need to ask electric fan to ease discomfort. Nevertheless you get what you paid for. Really cheap room for a night.

7-beds-room is so fun for my travel group”
The price is cheap but I still have a comfort stay there. The shared bathrooms & toilets are dry, clean & no smell. Kitchen is equipped with dishes, bowls, spoons, knives & folks. Water is always available. It's very suitable for group travelers who want to discover Bohol with small budget.

I thought it was near to the "airport"”
I booked it because I thought I will be getting a hotel near the airport. It's my bad, actually the hotel for its price is fair enough. Well maintained though a bit old. I got the room without CR which is again my fault, I did not noticed it during my booking. A decent hotel. They give a pouch of toiletries which is 2 thumbs up from me.

The room, staff and location is ideal! It's just that the shower isn't working well. Above that, i loved my stay! I recommend it for the travellers. Just 10 minutes away from the port, walking distance to the market which has lots of carenderias to eat to.
