Magnificent free breakfast, top location, friendly staff”
My fiancée stayed in the Marcian Business Hotel for 5 nights as a solo traveler, whilst she reviewed options for a permanent abode in ZC for her University studies. She was initially booked in to stay for one night only, but because we were so happy with the hotel, we decided to extend her stay to 5 nights. The rooms are good value for money. They're nice, clean, comfortable, and with good in-room facilities (air conditioner, telephone, flat screen TV, etc). The hotel's in a top location. It's only a very short walk (a little over 100 metres) from the SM City Mindpro shopping mall on La Purisima St. For eating out on a budget, there's a Mc.Donald's, KFC, Jollibee, Chowking, Mang Inasal, Mister Donut, and many other eateries located within an a easy walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. For the first night, my fiancée received a free room upgrade to a larger room. Which was a nice touch. Whilst she needed to re-locate to another room for the subsequent nights when we decided to extend her stay for a longer duration, this was arranged seamlessly by the the hotel staff, with her being able to move directly from the one room into the other. The BEST thing of all, is the magnificent FREE breakfast served every morning. A scrumptious serving of fried egg, rice, and either corned beef or mini sausages (dependent upon the day). Served with chilled ice water and coffee. Whilst the breakfast serving size is on the smaller side for a man with a large appetite (like myself), it was more than adequate to fill up my fiancée - giving her the energy to "power on" for the day ahead. Most importantly, the quality of the food is delicious and impeccable. A thoroughly recommended hotel. When in ZC, we'll definitely stay there again.

Very Clean, Location wise”
It's clean, comfortable and spacious. But I got dismay because they don't provide toothbrush and toothpaste. I asked them late at night so I went to sleep without brushing my teeth. Food is just okay and expensive.

Location is in the city and easy to find, staff is kind and friendly. The room was spacious and the air conditioner works really well despite having to wait about 5 mins before it starts running. My companions told me that the hotel and room was good except for the toilet with odd smell. Other than that, everything was fine.

Disappointing Room ”
When I arrived there was water leaking from the light bulbs inside the room and the bathroom was wet all over. I've booked a single bed but they put me in a room with 2 beds. I insisted to be transferred to a different room since I was staying for 2 days and the bell boy was accommodating.

Accessible but needs upgrades”
Not the kind of "business hotel" one usually thinks about. Property is accessible enough from the airport, but really lacks amenities and is in need of upgrades.

Lots of cockroaches; split-type aircon was noisy and spits out water; no hot water; furnishings very old. I won't be back here. I discourage others to stay in this hotel.

Mercian Business Hotel Experience”
The following observations are as follows: 1. No parking area along the vicinity especially when you came for business agenda (e.g. client meeting) during the visit. 2. Coacroach noted flying along the hallway. 3. Paints were peels off the wall. 4. Fridge inside the room was not working. 5. Complimentary drinks should be available at least water base on the number of accupants. 6. No available toiletries inside the hotel bathroom.

My check in was late at almost 3pm due to unavailability of bedsheets. Room is is smelly and dirty. Dilapidated room including unit fittings and finishes. No hot and cold water in the shower. Worn-out bathroom fixtures.

-Super late check-in because the staff told us that they need to wait for the laundry of their sheets and towels. -The place is so dirty, there are cockroches everywhere! - The toilet flush got busted; had to call the reception. They sent a plumber to fix it. And the flush handle replacement was really rusty. -Always having brownouts; almost got trapped inside the elevator. -Breakfast food was soggy and not prepared hot.
