My wife and I have stayed at the Marquis before and were not disappointed upon our return. Although the pool area got a little noisy at times, it was not at all overwhelming. The food is great with a diverse menu and well stocked bar.

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel away from the Fields Ave traffic and noice, yet still close for evening entertainment. This hotel has a great kitchen and a very friendly staff. The rooms are good size, but I asked for an upgrade after I saw the room I wa booked into. The poolside rooms are ideal, with the restaurant just outside the door. On the negative side, the rooms are in need for better maintenance, but when a problem was reported, it was fixed right away. The outdoor pool was refreshing, but in need of better cleaning/chlorination. I would stay there again on my next trip.

Near Clark airport”
I stayed one night as I needed someplace close by to Clark airport. It was about what I had expected to find in Clark in the budget range. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The attached restaurant offered a large menu and the food was pretty good. If you need a decent sleep before catching a flight out of Clark and don't want to spend very much money then this hotel is fine. I think in the price range it is decent. There is also a nice pool by the restaurant.

Inconsiderate staff but good place”
At 6:30 every morning is when staff shift change starts to happen. Staff loudly talk (yell) back and forth to each other across the street. At 7:00 am the restaurant starts to open and on goes the TV. At full volume. On some inane music channel. As the 10 hotel rooms on the restaurant/ pool side of the hotel face directly at the open air restaurant, guests are greeted with this noise every morning. Requests to turn it down are greeted with scowls and the same loud noise happens again the next morning. Repeat request repeat scowl. Staff seems to have become accustomed to what they like and have forgotten to consider the guests on thi concern. Restaurant is nice and relaxing good food and variety. Always enjoyed the meals. Pool is nice to relax at. Not cleaned very well or very often. Rooms on poolside are old and dated. But I liked the size of the rooms. Maintenance around the place is not really keeping up to things. Maybe that's a management decision. Overall it's worth the money. Not fancy but definitely cozy and relaxing. Seems popular with repeat customers I would definitely stay here again. I'll just have to remember to bring a universal remote so I can control the "staff" TV volume.

Had a pleasant stay. Unfortunately the pool was at maintenance. They have nice restaurant with pool table. Quiet situated, though near the night life. They also make a good price for pick up at Manila airport (60% of what you pay at the airport)

Reasonable rates, convenient location, decent food”
Pleasant, quiet for sleeping, taxi to airport on time. Restaurant had good food at reasonable prices, but lighting was poor. Eventually, hot water came from shower, but staff had to show us we had to wait for 5 minutes to get it.A/C was very cold - we turned it off and used the fan setting instead. Had to ask for towels - no toothpaste of shampoo. 1 1/2 blocks walk to main shopping street -Don Juico Blvd.

Real bargain in an everincreasing city”
this is my second stay at this budget inn. in essence it is an incredible find in an area where rising prices abound! upon arrival by trike from the bus terminal in dau as i alighted from the vehicle the doorman and security officer were imediately removing my heavy luggage, greeting me effusively with a hearty welcome back sir and making me feel at home. during the course of my stay i had the opportunity to utilize the front desk safety box (where you maintain all keys), the resturaunt and shuttle trike. all staff i encountered were at all times very courteous, warm , welcoming and hospitable. i will absolutely stay there again!

Great value for money”
Relatively basic hotel, but has everything you need and is great value for money. I eat in the restaurant pretty much everyday. Good for the perimeter road bars, but it is a 100 peso trike ride to get to Fields Avenue.

Too far from fields, cheap but basic, good food”
Cheap hotel but quite basic in terms of furnishings and facilities (e.g. no safe in room). Bathroom was quite basic too, but water was hot. Internet worked fine, and despite being two stars has in room food service and a restaurant, quality and price of which were good. Needed a trike ride (100 peso's) to get the the entertainment area, so factor that into the price, but still good value. Good location for the perimeter bars.

Good room and good restaurant”
Pros : Good and clean room , even furnitures a bit old . Big flat screen and cable TV with more than 100 channels. Wifi works well. Pool beds have a foam and are comfortable. Very good restaurant. Cons : rooms are very close to the restaurant and reception . Sometimes noisy when people sit at restaurant bar. Pool not always cleaned . If you eat , you are surrounded by cats. The staff don't chase them.

Very pleasant. I prolonged my stay as it was so relaxing. Though nightlife area is a about 10 minutes tricycle ride away, it is nice to live outside the hectic area. Good food and drinks in the at relaxing garden/pool/restaurant scenario.

I and my family had a good stay in this hotel. The room itself was bigger than the average hotel room, with a couch long enough to lay on. perhaps the only turn-offs are the AC doesn't get cool enough, and the wi-fi connection varies too often in speed. Otherwise it would have been perfect.

From the time I arrived, the staff were very friendly and the surroundings were good, although the rooms are tired, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, all facilities and full Cable TV is available. I will go back again.

It has a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. When there is a problem the staff are very quick to reply and took care of the problem ASAP., very helpful staff, internet connection is great and so is the food. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

unacceptable noise”
the poolside bar and restaurant is open 24 hours and is directly opposite and close to the VIP rooms. These rooms are subject to all night noise from drunken guests making it difficult to sleep. Even voices at normal level are extremely disturbing. During my 3 night stay guests were at the bar till 6 am. Along with very noisy air con units I got no sleep at all. The quieter rooms are in the reception block on the other side of the road. Mention of the 24 hour bar opposite the rooms must be made in your hotel info. This hotel at best is a 1/2 star only.

Average Budget Hotel for Transit”
The hotel has a nice facade, covered with crippling plants. An average budget hotel for an overnight stay for transit. The room is big. However, blanket was not provided in the room and we have to cover ourselves with the thin bed sheet. Fringe was locked and not usable. The pool water was filthy and not circulated.The staff were friendly.
