Cleanest rooms and friendliest staff ”
You will be happy that you chose this Marriott. Right on the water. Great food! Within walking distance of Midway and other cool things. Not much shopping outside of the hotel. Most little shops are closed up and empty.

Nice hotel and good location. However, the problem with Marriott in the USA (as opposed to abroad) is that they nickel and dime you for every little thing when compared to other brands like Hilton. For starters, parking is not included in your stay ($20/night, self-park, unlike Hilton and Intercontinental). Breakfast is not included (unlike Hilton Doubletree or Embassy Suites). Bottled water in the room is $4 prominently displayed on top of the minibar counter. WiFi is charged and not free unlike other hotel chains. Marriott also charges you a daily convenience/hospitality fee they say you can 'recover' if you go to certain in-house overpriced restaurants, bars, bicycling, or kayaking. Even Sheraton/Starwood was like Hilton until 2016 when Marriott acquired it and then did the nickel and dime thing with that brand as well. So the take home message is, yes, it is a nice hotel (make sure if you get a single room they do not place you in one with a connecting door to loud people in the neighboring unit); but you will pay for it. Depending on how your company reimburses, many of these expenses will not be covered completely as they exceed the IRS per diems or are not allowed at all (hospitality fee).

All kind of fun activities at the place. The only I think it’s not right that cleaning room service is provided every 3 days so ask for garbage bag for pick up your own garbage, but food Amazing, staff incredibly and location fantastic.

It looks more nice hotel out side then in side, it's old from the rooms , need to be remodel , there is no room service in the hotel, so if you want breakfast , need to get out to eat. Very uncomfortable. Plus pay for balcony room and they give you what they want and that's it.

Bait and switch”
This hotel was a bait and switch. Upon arrival I paid and extra 100 dollars in fees. The hotel restaurant serves “signature” cocktails with well liquor. When asked why my Negroni was made with none of the ingredients on the menu, that bartender looked...laughed and responded that most patrons never notice. Great location, but one of the worst stays I’ve ever had.

Our best stay in the US. Large room, a great view of the bay and Coronado. Very pleasant staff , and lots of things to do in the hotel/ resort. Unfortunately we were there for only a day so couldn’t use most of them - but we’ll definitely return for longer again

Estadía en general buena, pero---”
Me asignaron una habitación en la torre Sur-Los muebles y cortinas se ven viejos, el servibar estaba vacío y el café de la habitación es malísimo. La cama y las almohadas están deliciosas, el baño.....bien. El restaurant muy caro, es mejor comer fuera del hotel, hay una basta selección en el exterior. Muy buena locación. Creo que necesita remodelación en general.
