The hotel is clean, beautiful and has good Internet. The beach is big, clean and service at beach is excellent. The staff at reception, at the beach (Chaminda) and Public House (breakfast) is very friendly and helpful. Within the pearl you can use a free limousine service. The next metro station is Legtaifiya and taxi to metro station costs around 10 QR. Use Karwa taxi and Karwa bus app! Improvement: carpets in the room should be cleaned (has lots of stains) and please add Italian/French salad dressings in the restaurants! The vinegar on all salads in each restaurant was aweful. Do I recommend this hotel? Yes.

Marsa Malaz Kempinski was my dream hotel to go to. Yesterday during the Check-in at Reception, the lady told us to wait because there was no available room yet though I booked a day before. She said they will just call us on my phone. We waited for almost 2hours at the lobby while watching other guests who just came getting their rooms. I returned to receptionist and about to tell her to cancel because my kids are already tired waiting. She asked me if somebody called and I replied nobody. After few minutes, she handed us the card for the room. The room is clean but it is same with 4-star hotel rooms. There was a slice of cake on the table which written Happy Birthday (I guessed from the old guest in that room) and some leftover arabic sweets. At late evening, we requested Housekeeping to clean bathroom. The Housekeeping personnel suddenly opened our door without even knocking (where is privacy?). They used card to open the door. We feel bad/ dismayed for our 1 night stay. We'll never come back. We felt high discrimination between us and the locals.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and everything was great, except for one thing that truly bothered me on the last day of my stay. A staff or supervisor by the swimming pool was rude to my mother for requesting an extra towel and he told her "didn't you already get towels earlier?". It bothers me because we were 3 persons and we did get 3 towels earlier, but would the hotel lose anything major if it provided an extra towel to one of its visitors?? The hotel is amazing but I certainly hope that the staff by the pool treat visitors with more respect and kindness, visitors pay and come to the hotel to enjoy their time and relax, NOT to be treated in a manner similar to what I described above. Kindly take action to this matter. I hope this matter doesn't repeat on our next stay.

Nice and luxurious hotel with great pool and beach area. Note that the hotel is on Pearl Island, which is a bit far from the city and airport but it is a destination within its own. Staff friendly and polite. Definitely worth the money paid.

I highly recommend that if there are wedding party their guests should not enter from the same hotel guests door, We wait for auch long time to giving & taking our car to the valet. Also my wife asked the staff to put some flowers on the bed during our absence for celebrating my “birthday” Feb 9th and they promised her that they will do it and when we return back nothing was there!

Exquisite Property with Lackluster Staff”
If going by the property alone, this place boasts some of the most exquisite amenities one could desire. The staff, unfortunately did not seem to care about our needs. We were allocated a room that did not match our selected room description (ocean view) and were instead given a pool view room. We are normally not too picky, but asked to be moved as the noise from the very busy pool permeated even through the double glazed balcony windows and were often a nuisance. Despite the staff's efforts to move us to the room category that we booked, we were shown another room with a view of a generator. We chose the least obnoxious of the two options and stuck with the noisy pool view room.

Beautiful resort with great spa service. Had some trouble at the front desk due to booking through agoda though (somehow their system not directly connected to agoda), and the front desk had to charge extra for the room type we originally booked on agoda, luckily agoda was willing to help fix the issue. Front desk service was bit slow, but staff are very friendly. Pool and beach are great, just unfortunate that it is not an infinity pool.
