Nothing at all. I do understand that a gentleman, below, had a terrible experience en route to the nearby beach so best not to go there (as I was advised).

The location isn't far from the capital, very quiet area surrounded by one fruit tree or another. Great place to read a book or work while on vacation. I would definitely recommend.

We chose this place just as a base for a couple of nights to organize our last-minute trip to this island. The caretaker Glenn was very nice in welcoming us and helpful. The first nigh however the AC was not working and we had to change room. Second day, we were planning to leave and decided to give a look at the beach just in front, 400 meter or 10 minutes’ walk through a narrow, quit steep and slippery path through the tropical forest. This beach itself showed out nothing special and frequented by very few local people. On our way back, we were brutally assaulted by two horrible, scary young criminals, threatening us with two big rocks. They robbed from us our bag and especially my dead mother's gold chain and marriage ring and even looked into our underwear for money. After this shocking event the police was called but in the end they didn't do much at all. The owner had told us that the beach was a safe place to go and other tourists had gone there and the neighborhood was also safe, instead she misguided us, because it is an utterly unsafe place as people had also been robbed at the nearby bus stop. The actual guest house is a sham, the first night the AC was not working, third night the second room had a broken WC that flooded the room and in the night, going to the toilet, I slipped and fell down, hurting badly my left knee and foot. I strongly complained with the owner that, despite all our misadventure, only discounted one night out of the four nights we stayed here. This was a devastating experience that basically ruined our holiday. I never had such a negative and shocking bad time. So if you still would decide to travel to St. Lucia, Marvey's guest house surely would not be the place to go.

The property was beautiful, and we really liked the location. The area is very quiet and private. The room was nice and comfortable, and the check-in process was simple, quick, and casual. The host was polite, friendly, and informative. Everything was exactly as we'd hoped.

There was nothing that we didn't like. We had a wonderful experience.

Super clean, air con, comfy bed. It was a perfect location for our required stay. We were grateful when Glen showed us the way to the stunning beach. Thank you Maria for everything & especially for introducing us to Silvester.

Clean room and quite location. Host is so helpful. I felt myself like at my own home. Host picked up me to ferry port in early hour (05:30) that there were no public transportation at that time.

This was the friendliest and most supportive host I ever encountered. I arrived very late on a sunday evening and had booked the transfer as well. On the way to the place I was treated to a quick tour around the most important spots in Castries. The place itself is beautiful and well maintained. Bus stop is just a few meters away. I wish I had booked for longer!
