I was put in the basement with the bugs. Old hotel, lighting not best and they give you bug spray. I found a huge roach in my towel! Not good...room was below kitchen. Like living in basement.

VERY VERY NOISY”
We moved from the Villas at Simpson Bay to Mary's Boon because of the great reviews. I was so disappointed. The location is literally on the runway of the airport (sxm) so from 7am -8pm it is so noisy from the planes. The restaurant have very limited items and is very expensive. A small btl of water is $3 US. The staff really doesn't make you feel welcome. I have a dealing with Ron the Front Manager he was so miserable and unpleasant. It is a good 30 minute walk to the main strip of grocery stores car rentals and tons of restaurants. They called out room a garden suite with a kitchenette...it was a bed a bathroom with a mini fridge and a hot plate to plug in as a stove . The bathroom was so small and the shower was dark to shower in something out of a 60's movie...but very clean. The beach was beautiful the only great part. They are very unprofessional there the grounds keeper was using spray paint to paint fans right next to where er were at the pool. WOULD NEVER EVER STAY THERE

The rooms are very very tiny but quaint. This hotel seems to be more French speaking staff. It doesn’t feel welcoming at all. If you see a staff member around no one will say Hi or Good Morning. The restaurant is your only option but expensive there is a hot plate and other amenities that’s what they call a kitchenette. You are a good 30 minute walk to a good grocery store. The hotel is literally on the run way of the airport. No planes at night but very noisy all day. I’m soooo disappointment because I was looking forward to a relaxing stay!

We woke up at 2am to find our room was flooded with toilet water so bad it was flooding out into the hotel hallway. All my things were soaked. I’ve were told that they needed to have the septic pumped more often because this always happens. Even worse none of the hotel staff was in till 9am so from 2am to 9am we had to sleep in a flooded toilet water room. I had to throw away my luggage and wash all my clothes. They gave us 20$ off the stay. We spent $1000 there in the couple days. The restaurant, bar and spa are lol owned separately. I recommend this place to hang out but DO NOT STAY! Filthy
