Located a 5-minute walk from JR Matsue Station, Matsue Urban Hotel Lake Inn provides simple accommodation with complimentary breakfast and free-use microwave in the lobby. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all areas. Each compact room comes with a desk, a flat-screen TV and a fridge. An electric kettle with tea bags is also included. The en suite bathroom has a bath tub and toiletries. While staying at Lake Inn Matsue Urban Hotel, guests can request in-room massages at an additional fee, or use hotel’s bicycles for free to explore the city. The 24-hour front desk can store luggage, handle dry cleanings and provide tourist information. Izumo Airport is a 25-minute drive or bus ride away from Matsue Station. The hotel is a 50-minute drive from famous Izumo Shrine. The complimentary breakfast includes a bowl of rice, egg, soup and coffee.

Solid budget hotel with great staff and breakfast”
This is a great hotel if you're on a budget. My boyfriend and I arrived too early for check-in, but the friendly staff member at the front desk took our bags. She even put them in our room for us for when we checked in later! The hotel is around 5 - 10 minutes from the main Matsue station. There is a convenient elevator on the side of the building, in addition to the main stairs to the front door. Our room was advertised as having a "small double bed", but it was definitely big enough for two people. The room was a little worn, but we expected this for a budget hotel. However, we received complimentary razors and toothbrushes. The complimentary breakfast was also surprisingly good -- traditional Japanese breakfast with rice, fish, pickle, miso soup. If you don't want to spend a lot of money but don't want to stay in a hostel, this is a great option.

Clean but not very convenient”
Perfectly clean and nice, if considerably rundown. The semi-double bed was very small, even for Japan--I wouldn't recommend it for two people. If you are planning on using the laundry services, be advised the machines are outside on the ground floor, and the elevator opens on the second floor (where the lobby is) every time you pass through--annoying when you're making multiple trips up and down. For the money, I think better deals are available in Matsue.

ゴールデンウィークに寝るだけの宿として価格でこちらに宿泊。 ホテル自体はかなり古く禁煙室でも タバコのヤニがついていたりしたのでその点は残念ですが、 値段と建築数を考えるとしょうがない。 フロントのスタッフがおすすめのお店を教えてくれたり、 朝食が無料、駐車場が無料で空いていたところは良かったです。

一人旅と車ならOK”
中心部から離れているので基本的に車などない人は厳しいかも。近くに食べる場所もないので、そういう理由もあり駐車場と朝食は無料なんだと思いました。今回は一人旅&車移動だったので、全く問題なかったですが。 少し残念なポイントは、壁が薄くて隣の人の声が聞こえるところです。気になる人は結構気になるレベルかもしれません。

우선 가격은 다른 호텔에 비해서 저렴합니다. 하지만 그만큼 감안하셔야할 것이 침대가 둘이 자기에는 좁은편이고 아침식사가 밥, 계란, 된장국, 햄(맛이 좀), 차 정도 인데 맛이 좀 그렇습니다. 대신 직원분들 너무 친절하시고 화장실도 깨끗한편이였고 자전거 무료대여, 온천을 할 수있었지만 어반호텔이 총 3개가 있는데 레이크 어반은 온천이 없기에 뉴 어반호텔까지 가서 온천을 하고 다시 숙소로 와야하는 불편한 점이 있습니다. 개인적으로 뉴 어반호텔을 추천합니다.
