          Located on a hilltop, Petit Hotel Bistro Abalon boasts sweeping views of the ocean and Matsushima Islands, renowned as one of the Three Views of Japan. It offers Western and Japanese-style rooms, a garden and free WiFi at all areas. A free shuttle runs to/from Matsushima Kaigan Station. Free private parking is available on site.           Well positioned”

          An enjoyable stay in this character older style hotel. Our husband and wife hosts could not have been more helpful. She spoke very good English and gave very helpful advice. The hotel is situated just up the hill from the railway station, a little to far to walk if carrying cases, but a very short taxi ride. We were going to walk down with our wheeled cases next morning, but our host was only to happy to drive us to the JR station. Comfortable beds and small but well appointed bathroom. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Has a great view of the islands from top of the Hotel.

          Old Victorian mansion showing its age, but much nicer than more fancy places. Despite the climb up the hill would rather stay here than down in the tourist strip.

          柔軟な対応誠実な対応”

          可愛らしい素敵なプチホテルでした 檜のお風呂がとっても気持ちよかったです 予約方法が間違ってたのか二人宿泊で予約してたのをすぐに1人に変更してくださり 朝食もOKで，本当に誠実に対応して下さいました．焼き魚と珈琲とってもおいしかったです。 次は友達とディナーコース付きで利用させていただけたらと思います

          スタッフさんがみんな親切”

          暗くなって到着だったので駅までお迎えを頼んだら、すぐに駅まで来てくださいました。 お風呂は温泉ではないけれど、檜風呂と大きな五右衛門風呂、それぞれを空いていたら貸切で使えます。 建物は古いけど、料理は美味しいし、スタッフさんがみんな優しく、心地が良い。 お部屋の壁が薄いのか、夜や朝に人が動く気配や声がしてきました。
