To us, it was almost like a little castle. We also arrived very early because we had to take an early train due to temporary timetables for railways and were exhausted and still were welcomed even though this must have been a rush for our host. The room and bathroom were great, a super comfortable bed and a very nice host. Breakfast was also great. Would definitely recommend.

The location was excellent, with loads of free parking right outside the front door and excellent access to the town centre for restaurants etc (5 min walk). The host was lovely and incredibly friendly
Don't judge a book by it's cover - from the outside a bit of maintenance is required which does make the property look a bit scruffy and was a bit disconcerting when you pull up. But once inside it is lovely, peaceful with everything you need, very comfortable beds and a fantastic breakfast

Liz was the perfect host and her welcome was lovely. The room was comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was probably the best we've ever had in a B&B and we would definitely stay again. A little gem.

Maybank Guest House is fantastic! The house’s atmosphere is cosy and warm, the breakfast is amazing, the bed is really comfortable and everything was thought through so you do not lack anything. Would definitely go back if I’m in the area again!

Great Overnight Stop”

The host was lovely. Very chatty and friendly. Although she only takes 1 booking per night her breakfast spread is fit for a king with lots and lots to choose from and a hearty cooked breakfast that was delicious. The room was very comfortable with everything that you need as were the separate bathroom facilities. The bed was very comfortable and cosy. If you like walking, the sea front is ideal as it goes on for a couple of miles and would suit those with walking difficulties. We would certainly recommend and stay here again.
Was my mistake when booking and did not realise the bathroom/toilet were in the hallway. However, we were OK with this as we were not sharing with anybody else. A little disturbance through the night from above but was able to go back to sleep. Mentioned this to the host who told us an unwell elderly man lived above.
