Great hospitality in Can Tho!”
We had a great stay at Mekong-Logis! It was our first trip to Vietnam and Linh and her family were so helpful with suggestions about which sights to see and where to try local food. The accommodations are spacious and clean, with A/C (necessary in May!). At Fredo’s suggestion, we took a long bike ride to a beautiful house whose style was French-influenced. It was a great way to see the surrounding area, since we could bike along the river and access some small streets we’d otherwise miss. Linh’s English is very good and it was fun to learn more about Can Tho from her. She also helped us arrange the floating market boat tour, motorbike taxis, etc. We felt a lot better knowing that she was always available to help us figure things out! Staying at Mekong-Logis is the way to experience Can Tho and the hospitality that it has to offer. We would definitely stay at Mekong-Logis again!

Quirky but relaxing guesthouse”
Although it is down an alley, it is easy to find and the alley helps to make the location quiet away from the traffic. The alley or 'Hem' is interesting also as it is a real slice of Vietnames life and is full of friendly 'Hot Pot' restaurants, should you not want to fight your way through the motorbikes to walk to the touristy waterfront. The hotel is quite basic, but is cheap ( breakfast is extra), the rooms are spotless, has good showers and good wifi in the room. The mattress is typically hard as in most Vietnamese hotels, but was ok. The best thing about the mekong-logis, as been pointed out by others, was the trip to the local floating market organized by the owners daughter Linh. She is a real star, friendly, knowledgable and able to suit the tour to your individual needs. I think this was one of the main highlights of our six months in Vietnam, especially when Can Tho seemed so unpromising at first and she deserves to run her own tour company one day! Both she and her mother went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay and make this a great place to stay. Alfredo spent more time dealing with French tourists, but seems an interesting character. All in all a nice, value for money place to stay in the Mekong delta.

Excellent find and great way to see Mekong Delta”
I visited the Mekong-Logis hotel in July 2014 with my girlfriend. We used the hotel as a jumping off point from which to explore the Mekong Delta region. Luckily, Mekong-Logis offered an amazing and truly local tour of the floating markets and canals in the Can Tho area. We woke up early in the morning and were guided by Linh, the English-speaking daughter of the couple that runs the hotel. Linh was absolutely phenomenal and gave us a real taste of the local culture and landscape. I cannot speak more highly of the hotel and would 100% recommend it to folks interested in exploring the Mekong region.

Great Hotel in Can Tho”
The Mekong-Logis Hotel is an excellent in Can Tho. The owners friendly and efficient. However, they speak Vietnamese and French, only their daughter speaks English. The Mekong-Logis Hotel does not provide breakfast; but at the prices they charge, guests can't complain. I advise all guests of the Mekong-Logis Hotel take the tour of the floating markets organized by Lille.

quiet garden oasis”
Me and my two young sons stayed at the Mekong-Logis for three nights in August. Although not located right at the harbor but a short drive away, it is like stepping into an oasis, a peaceful quiet setting, with lovely city views. The rooms are clean, and are of a good size with high ceilings. The proprietor Fredo and his wife and children are so friendly, helpful and accommodating- many thanks for making our stay so lovely. Fredo took us on a tour to Phong Dien floating market, and a boat tour through the canals, it was quite an adventure and one of the highlights of our travels in Vietnam. I would definitely stay there again and can only recommend Mekong-Logis for your stay in Can Tho. Thank you Fredo & family!

Perfect stay!!!!!!”
Our stay was perfect! Our room was super clean and nice! Location of Logis Guesthouse is very good, you can reach everything by feed. We did the Mekong Tour with Linh (daughter of the guesthouse owners), which was absolutely amazing! You travel around in a small boat on the river and you learn so much about vietnamese culture and life, fruits and everything you like to know, she explains everything. Her English is very good! We had a wonderful time together with her! Don't miss to do the tour with her, we very recommend to book it! Moreover she helped us in any case, if we need to find a good restaurant or how to travel to our next destination. Thank you very much for everything, Linh!

We had only one Night at mekong logis guesthouse. They are so Nice and Helpful. My girlfriend had some Problems with her stomach and Linh helped us with her magic ginger drink :) we Started the Next day very early and went to the floating market ! We had an awesome Time ! Linh helped us with Booking our bus and Hotel in Rach Gia which was our Next Station. We want to say Thank you again !! You and youre family are awesome !!

Very welcoming owners speaking fluent French”
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mekong-Logis Hotel. Vietnamese family- run small hotel with owners speaking fluent french. Great hospitality and always ready to help out. Even though we were only there for 2 nights we felt a certain bond with the owners. Clean and comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast available upon request, many small extras, for example a plate of fresh watermelon after a day of sightseeing! 'Freddo' (don't remember his Vienamese name sorry) the owner offers guided day trips to an un-touristy floating market along with excursions in some remote canals of the Mekong Delta. Also other guided trips available such as a day on a scooter exploring the backroads of the Delta, stopping to visit orchards, visit Vietnamese families, snake market, traditional markets. All trips very interesting as Freddo keen on sharing his local knowledge and ensuring that his clients are satisfied and enjoy their excursions. Convenient and hassle-free excursions tailored to our needs as he will only take one small group at a time (a couple, a family, a solo guest). Reasonable pricing as well. We would have stayed longer had we had more time. Definately recommended to fellow travellers, especially if you speak French but even if you don't!!!

Fantastic tours of Mekong Delta”
We loved our two nights at the Mekong-Logis and wish we could have stayed longer. We were a family of five, so had a double, and a quad room booked. This worked well. We had very basic French, so along with the excellent English spoken by Lyn, the daughter, and the assistance of other travellers translating and passing on information, we got by. The tours we did with Lyn were two of our highlights of Vietnam and we thoroughly recommend them, along with the Mekong-Logis Hotel.

An absolutely wonderful stay with wonderful hosts”
Located conveniently in an alley away from the bustling main street, My stay in mekong logis was nothing short of wonderful and it felt like being at a home away from home. From the very start, we were warmly welcomed by alfredo and his daughter Lel. The language barrier got in the way sometimes, but it never stopped our hosts from trying to show us the best that vietnam had to offer. Upon arrival, we took up a tour of the floating market with lel and it is something i highly recommend. Coupled with her warmth, enthusiasm and genuine desire to show us the best, we were not only taken through the floating market, but also a trek through the villages lining the river which gave us an extraordinary glimpse into the lives of the people who live there. this does not stop here, throughout our stay...the family made sure that all our needs were looked after including valuable suggestions for our next destination, to the point of ensuring that we got onto the bus for the next leg of our journey safely. The only regret that we had was not staying a day longer! Thank you so much for your extraordinary hospitality and kindness, we hope to see you again soon. -richie & dominik

Highly recommendation for tour with Linh!”
We booked this guesthouse because I read about the private tour with Linh before which I definitely wanted to do that tour. And I only can say: yes yes yes! Linh is a fantastic tourguide who shows and explains a lot about the traditional life of people living at the Mekong and we did a lot of stuff with no other tourists around. It's an excursion into the countryside of Mekongdelta and no visit of one of the big floating markets! We visited a small floating market as well but focus is the countryside. Linh did a fantastic job and although we already checked out in the morning we could take another shower before leaving back to HCMC and several other little things she and her family arranged. It was a short but beautiful stay and definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Only one point in personal matter : I expected a small guesthouse in the countryside when booking the room, but the 'bush' is a >1 Mio city and the guesthouse in between.

Fantastic guesthouse with super friendly staff”
We had a fantastic stay at the Mekong-Logis Hotel. We arrived late from Phu Quoc Island (via Bus-Ferry-Bus) and was greeted with a smile and helpful directions to find some dinner. We arranged a tour of the floating market with the hotel for the next morning. Despite the early start (5:30am) is was an AMAZING experience. Well worth it, even if you're offered a cheaper tour with another company! The owners and staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive, and made our stay there so much more enjoyable.

Informal and friendly”
The guesthouse is tucked away down one of the many alleys in Can Tho. My Taxi driver would not go down the alley, but dropped me at the entrance to the alley. Apparently, most taxis do this. However, it was not far to the guesthouse, which is family run. The family are very friendly and helpful, although not all ca speak English. They do however, speak French. The GH was clean and everything worked to my satisfaction. I was given a map of the town showing the location of the GH. Breakfast (which is very good) was srved in the garden. I liked the location, because it is well away from the traffic noise. Can Tho does not get a lot of tourists. It has a young population, so is quite lively in the evening. Eating out can be a challenge as most restaurants do not have English speaking staff, and many do not have English menus (in some cases there isn't a menu). However, I liked the town, because of it's lack of tourists. There are lots of clothes shops and electronics shops.

Friendly homestay with superb tours”
The location is a bit off the main road, so finding it was a little hard, but once you;ve found it, it's easy to find again. Mekong-Logis is a homestay-quaint, eccentric, lots of character, very enjoyable, but it does have its drawbacks-the lack of an elevator means you must lug your baggage up the stairs. However, if you are fed up of lookalike chain hotels, ML is a nice change. Linh, the owner's daughter, speaks English, while her parents speak French. Linh knows where the best restaurants and street food are, and can give very good advice on the sights of Can Tho. We took Linh's Mekong Delta tour, starting at 5am, where we took motorcycles to the floating market. We went to various land and floating markets, toured fruit orchards, visited villagers and entered their houses... this was a highlight of the trip as Linh explained everything in English. Linh's father, Fredo, is a unique character. He has lived in France, and was once a Chinese martial arts instructor there (strange, I know, a Vietnamese man teaching Bagua, Xingyi and Taiji in France). He's quite good, as good as many of the top masters in Beijing today. ML is a great place for those who like colourful inns with interesting characters.

We would highly suggest staying at Mekong-Logis if you are interested in touring a floating market in Can Tho. The floating market that Linh and her father took us too was out of town with almost no tourists. And Linh's English and French are some of the best we have heard in Vietnam.

We adored this hotel and would stay again in a second. The family that runs it is so sweet and welcoming - sharing tea, fruit from their garden, coffee - so hospitable. The husband and wife speak Vietnamese and French, and the daughter, Linh, speaks excellent English. Very clean, charming rooms, at a fabulous price. The location is off a major street in an alley, making it quiet, and it has a lovely little garden. Do NOT miss out on the floating market tour. We've heard stories from others about paying $20+ for such a tour and having a boat driver that doesn't speak their language just paddle them around fora couple of hours, even when the market is not running. Not the case here! An amazing taste of local life and culture on the Mekong - you will learn and see so much (except for other tourists). Heard from another guest that the countryside motorbike tour is not to be missed, and I would believe that after our experience. Can't recommend it enough. - Courtney & H.J. Home away from home ”
Me and a friend stayed with Linh and her family for two days. The whole family is absolutely gorgeous and heartwarming. They really care about the wellbeing of their guests and always try to give them the best experience by helping wherever they can. It‘s also very impressive how much time Linh spends just for answering every single question you have and organizing everything for her guests! She‘s such an Angel! You can’t compare the rooms, especially the beds, with a five or four star hotel BUT that’s not what this guest house is about. If you search for a home away from home, for perfect service and maybe an amazing Mekong tour with Linh or one of her friends, this is the right place for you. Two days weren’t enough so I’m sure I’ll come back!

nice, comfortable and valuable”
If you speak french, it's the best budget family-run hotel for you to stay in Can Tho i guess. Even I only speak English, but the nice staff was still very helpful! I stayed there for 2 nights, they offered me a big room with garden view, accessible balcony, big clean bed, fast speed internet, hairdryer, TV and a big bathroom. Although when I arriveed in Can Tho, it's little bit difficult for me to find the hotel,coz it located in a small alley. but after passing through the small alley for 1 or 2 times, you will realize that the location of the hotel is not bad, at least, you can sleep well without hearing noisy sound from motobikes. You can be woken up by birds' singing and cock crow. If you are tired of normal hotel and want to experience the local atmosphere of Can Tho, this hotel should be one of the best choice.
