Rooms were new and clean, beds were comfy, and the breakfast selection was huge. When I left there was a mechanical issue with my motorcycle and the staff went above and beyond to help me get it fixed. I can’t say enough about how great the staff was.

Pleasantly surprised to stay at this prime quality property. Ideally positioned for our needs with all mod cons. Unfortunately the huge indoor heated pool was being serviced but we are booking again later this month to try it out. Restaurant and bards well stocked and staff professional and efficient.

The location is very close to the train station, and the room is big and has a lot of amenities. However, the menu item was quite bad for chicken wings and napolitan spaghetti. Please avoid these. They did offer me substitutes but I was so full of that terrible taste that I couldn't eat anymore. The other menu items are okay, such as carbonara and bolognaise pasta and soups and sea bass so the value for money is still high. The laundry cost is high but optional so it doesn't affect ratings.

Good hotel but i wont comeback”
Book this for our VIP customer to stay for the bussiness trip. I booked at 29/5 and 30/5 midnight my customer arrived vietnam. 9pm 30/5 , i call to make sure the booking status they said they dont recceive any booking from agoda. Only said that without any suggest or checking . Thought the payment was fail so i did booking again but they still said no. When we came , they said have 2 booking already so i had to pay for 2 rooms??? All they response is not their fault its agoda fault. I dont really feel satified with these staff . Atleast they can suggest about agoda send booking to them late but if i have confirm mail then still ok but no .! Ok so never come again .

Don't let standards slip!”
Having stayed previously after the pandemic revival in Da Nang we noticed a slip in room quality. Previously on 28th flor the room was pristine but this stay on 22nd floor was slightly marred as the room whilst clean appeared shabby. Covid-19 is not an excuse to let standards slip. The breakfast buffet was also comparatively disappointing and staff seemed less caring than before.

The new staff are more friendly and the retained staff still on form. Only critisism is in the pre arival room checking that shopuld be done as our mini safe was out of service (flat battery) and the telephones (room and bathroom) were inoperable. The safe was reported and fixed the same day We only noticed the phone out of order when departing and that was also reported.

With the SEA Games on in town the hotel was busy. On our one evening we were unable to reserve a table for dinner or even visit the bar as both facilities were off limits to mere paying guests. Unacceptable that the hotel did not pre warned us of this so we could have made other arrangements or even changed our dates. We were given a late (2pm) checkout as part compensation - but since one cannot check in before 2pm this only gave us the allotted 24 hours for our one day stay..

The hotel rooms here are inexpensive, spacious and clean. BUT, the noise from outside the room can be disturbing, as is the case at most hotels in and around Hanoi. At the Vin Pearl, they play music in the hallways on every floor and sometimes it seems loud at 6am. The Church bells are ringing early and car horns are constantly beeping from the streets below. AND most frustrating of all, the staff EVERYWHERE in the hotel, cannot handle simple questions/ requests in English.

Terrible services ”
Was assigned to a smoking room while we had ordered a non-smoking room without a prior notice. We checked in late and the hotel was full so my 2 years old son had to go to sleep with heavy smell. Then around 10.00pm they woke up my son to send a late night gift. Just terrible timing. Vinpeal had been famous for their poor customer service, yet I was still amazed how wrong it could go.

PROS: good facilities, fancy decoration and confy room CONS: only a few of the staff speaks english, there was a lot of difficulty to be understood, a lot of confusion and stress caused by the staff I'd not really recommend the hotel for foreigners, the standing of the hotel is not met

Parking location is limited and miss guidance from staff. We check in at 12.30 and even security and staffs are not welcomed. Lunch at 7th floor was closed but still recommended us to eat there.
