Beautiful hotel, wonderful experience!”
After reading reviews online, we upgraded To The Level, Davide at the front desk was extremely helpful and provided us with a budget friendly upgrade. The room was. clean, spacious and had a lovely view of London. The Level Lounge breakfast were delicious and there were multiple items to choose from. After a long day of being on the town, The Level Lounge was once again the perfect place to relax with free tapas and beverages, including but not limited to beer, wine and champagne. Last but not least, EVERY staff member at the Melia was kind, courteous and eager to help with anything and everything. Will definitely be staying at The Level at The Melia Whit House when we're in London.

Comfortable hoteI in a great location”
the melia white house is a comfortable hotel within an iconic london building. the reception and service we received was enthusiastic and helpful the location is excellent for central london with good transport options to go further afield. of course you can stay in the hotel and enjoy a relaxing stay, and make maximum use of the hotel's restaurants, bars and leisure facilities.

Good hotel, but missing small touches.”
My stay at the Melia White House Hotel was good. The hotel is literally a very short walk to the Great Portland Street station, which makes travelling in London very convenient. The hotel room that I had was clean and bed was standard comfortable (not Wow comfortable). Besides that, I feel that the hotel is missing in little touches which I had hope a hotel of this standard could have provided (simple things like toiletries, bathrobe, complimentary bottles of water, offering umbrellas to guests staying at the hotel).

Five star treatment for a three star price”
We had a really enjoyable stay at the White House. Sharing a spacious, comfortable Junior Suite between three of us proved to be excellent economy and the additional bonus of access to the Level Lounge was much appreciated for post-shopping drinks and a great breakfast, without the queues, in the morning. Whether this was a special treat or part of the standard suite package, I didn't ask but it was a nice gesture either way! Attentive staff, speedy check-in/out away from the large tour group queues...our only gripe was the unusual lift system, which baffled most people we encountered and made travelling between floors a slow process. Otherwise fab, would definitely come again and recommend to others.

elegant hotel, very conveniently located”
The hotel is very conveniently located for whose who want to be close to the train-airport conncetion for Heathrow and to the historically interesting places around Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square and the British Museum and even to the University of London. The hotel rooms are elegantly furnished, although a bit small and some of the equipment needs to be changed, especially the TV sets, which are very old and their sound level is difficult to adjust. Compared to the TV, the Minibar is very small and if you move the small items of the Minibar to replace them with your own White Wine to cool it, be aware that there will be an automatic charge of the Minibar content to your hotel bill - this can be removed, however, when you explain the situation at checking out. The service is very friendly and helpful, rooms are very clean and well looked after.

Nice hotel, but somewhat dated”
the melia white house is a perfectly nice hotel in once of the nicer central areas in london. the hotel is large and a bit of a landmark, but it is somewhat dated and the rooms can feel stuffy and could do with a freshening up. the influence of the spanish owners can be felt by a relatively large number of spanish guest, employees and music throughout the hotel. overall, not the most charming place in the world, but no big disappointments, either.

Great location, lovely rooms - excellent service”
delighted with hotel - will be back. i got a great rate on agoda and the hotel did not disappoint. from arrival to check-out, staff were very helpful and welcoming. the room was lovely, spacious (even for london!), quiet and good temperature control - windows that opened as well! it's in a great location, near 3 tube stations and next to the park for walks. easy to walk down to the main tourist areas. 15 mins to oxford street.

Decent hotel next to Regent's Park”
The room was pretty cramped, especially the bathroom, but I suppose par for the course when it comes to similarly priced hotels in London. The beds were comfortable though the decor was a little plasticy. The location was ideal for a stroll around Regent's Park as well as within easy walking distance of sights, food and drink. There are two tube stations on the door step. There was a lot of choice at the breakfast but I couldn't help noticing the use of cheap ingredients.

very convenient and impressive”
the only dissadvantage, and a big one indeed was the fact that the room was booked as classic double and yet we got two single beds pushed together. not very comfortable to sleep for a couple when beds keep sliding apart. shame as otherwise we will have had a perfect stay at Melia

Fantastic quality and cheap price”
A cheaper than average high quality hotel in the heart of london. 5 mins from Great Portland Street tube station making city access swift and easy. Stylish hotel with exceptional staff. Nice rooms though a little on the small side.

Great location, good sized rooms”
perfect for tourists wanting to explore central London. Oxford street is a 10 minute walk away, Regent's Park is around the corner and there are great transport links nearby. Nice hotel with a cool lobby and great rooms despite some agony furniture.

Central location, real value.”
hotel location and service were real plus points. struggled with negatives; our room had an internal door which could link to the next room so on the last night we could hear the folk next door chatting for a bit, not a massive deal but worth considering; also the tv is all on demand which looked priceyto get, amazing how not being able to turn on the tv for the odd ten minutes makes a difference, not great but not a must have for your average tourist like us?

Good location and standard”
I stay here regularly, probably an average of 15 days a month. The hotel is run efficiently and the staff are friendly and appear to enjoy their work. The rooms are well equipped, but the "Classic" rooms may be a little small for some. There are two restaurants in the hotel, One I have never used because it is overly expensive and my view seems to be shared since it is generally empty. I find that good restaurants are always full. The second is a buffet offer. I have dined there a couple of times but find the food suffers from being left under infra red heaters for too long. It is not particularly appetising. Fortunately there are a couple of very good reataurants nearby that I generally use, Demartino and 4 Seasons.

Good standard and friendly staff in great location”
a good hotel for a couple of days. the rooms are not big but kind of what you would expect in london even for a good hotel. the bed was too short for a tall man, but service was fine, everything worked efficiently, and staff was friendly. recommended if you don't pay the standard price.

Great location at an affordable price”
The stay was good. The hotel was very good, but not fabulous! Upon arrival, the reception area was very busy, and we were waiting over 15 minutes to check in - this was at 11am on a Friday morning. The room was ready which was unexpected but great. The public areas are large and spacious, very attractive and extremely clean. The staff were all curteous and friendly. The bedroom was small and compact- but then we have paid a good price for it! The bathroom was very small and whilst everything was there it was difficult to manoeuvre your way into the bath/shower, etc....
