Super perfect for budget and group travelers!”
We’re a group of 5 and stayed for 4 nights and it cost us just how much! We had free towels in the room, comfy beds (except for 1 folding bed for the 5th person which is quite hard), well-functioning aircon, unlimited drinking water, hot and cold shower plus a balcony to hang wet clothes and a common area to chitchat! Citimall is yes, walking distance! And the boulevard is just one ride away. The owner even let us stay until 5pm with no extra cost since we got a late flight during our last day. They also offer free airport drop off and pick up just contact them. Also, there’s already a big mirror as the previous reviews suggested :) overall this is such a recommended place for those who prefers a comfortable stay at a very low price! Good thing we found Melissa’s Place!Feels like home :)

Very affordable. More or less P1, 000 per head/per room for 4 nights. Very accessible. Near Sibulan Airport, City Mall Dumaguete, bus stop. AND THE BEST THING IS THE OWNER AND THE STAFF ARE VERY MUCH HELPFUL!!! Free airport shuttle (from and to), and granted whatever it is that we requested (e.g. giving us a lift to the port at 4:15 a.m., gave us their ENTIRE FRIDGE SPACE for our pasalubong and even took our wet clothes in the veranda to safety because we were away and it rained) because of ! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and WILL DEFINITLEY BOOK AGAIN some time in the near future!

You Get What You Paid For”
Near the Citi Mall. It's far from the Dumaguete Boulevard but it is just one ride away with a minimum fare of less than P20. The AC are functioning well, the heater is ok. They provide free hot and cold water. The rooms are Ok. The REST ROOM needs improvement in terms of cleanliness. The owner should put a signboard so that it is easier to locate. Since the coordinates given by agoda is wrong. Tip: find Citi Mall, go to the road just beside CITI MALL. The first street at the back of Citi Mall is ST. PETER STREET. The ONLY HOUSE WITH A RED GATE in this street is Melissa's Place. But don't expect a signboard becasue there is none.

It was a great place to stay and affordable...”
It was right behind Citi Mall at St Peter street. We have the whole upstairs second floor to ourselves... the beds are comfortable and the sheets and pillow are clean and comfortable. We have clean rooms warm shower lots of water and you can cook anytime you want wiht the share kitchen. The owner is very accommodating so is the staff. They they gave me pandesal(bread) bodbod (sweet rice wrap in banana and a famous sikwate ( hot cocoa) if you visit Dumaguete I truly reccomend this Melissa's Place. Affordable and comfortable. You are able to wash loundry. Walking distance to mall 3/4 mile. It's very quiet and safe.

Great place to stay when you're in Dumaguete. Just 1 pedicab away from the city center. The house is clean and well maintained. City Mall is within walking distance in case you need some quick shopping. Best part of the stay is the host, Sir Elly. He provides great recommendations and even offers a ride (multiple times) to several locations. Again, many thanks sir Elly!
