Hotel was small but if you stay in Hotel only to sleep an all of day you are in town it's great value for your money. A short walk from Kings Cross station. The hotel is off the main road in a quieter location makes this hotel ideal for business or pleasure.

Nice Hotel, recently done up and reasonable rate ”

The room was small but had everything it required. The recent decoration was good and the rooms and public areas felt more expensive than the hotel was in reality. The location is good and the square in which the hotel sits is quiet at night.

No issues, but in my basement room, lots of noise from banging doors, early morning and late at night, plus poor soundproofing overall, probably inevitable in a hotel that is a modified house rather than built as a hotel originally...

Average. The reception staff first give me the wrong room number. The lights in the room are somewhat complicated to figure out. The bathroom is unacceptable: the wash basin is so tiny that it is almost impossible to use. Some lights were broken.

No safety and and the staff is strange”

After giving us the key the guy at the reception told us not to go out after 11:00PM because it’s not safe. Then They don’t even come and show you the room they just give you the key. There is a strange smell in the hotel. There is a park in front of the hotel and they told us that many dealers are there. In the room there was no shampoo, our window was broken. We suggest you to take « The Megaro Hotel » it’s just next to the tube station and it’s much better.

Great for short stay”

Great location, suitable for short stay. Shops and cafes are just around the corner. Staffs were very nice though they did know much about the tourism information about the city.

Very bad service”

It was a bad experience, the lobby receptiionist had zero knowlwdge about treating a guest. They had short and sharp answers, no service even for helping the tourist. There was no elevator in the hotel and people would not help carrying the bags, the charged aditional fees for everything. The room was way much more smaller than what the picture showed, 2 bags couldnt be opened at the same time. The bed was bad. There was this weird sound/ noice, we thought were the water pipes. All night long!! After all, the worst was the service! 2 men at the front desk treated so bad!

If you go to London stay out of this hotel.Its relatively expensive compared to what you get. The staff is unfriendly if not hostile and speaks very poor english. You'd rather go to a youth hostel, - this is NOT A HOTEL.

Not what I was expecting”

The lobby was nice but the rest was awful. The sheets were dirty when we got in our room and it was so hot. Even though it was only 70 degrees outside, it was burning up in our room. They made us pay for two nights to check in early too.

Hotel d'apparence classe et moderne (sur le site notamment). Très bien situé venant de saint Pancras. 3 minutes à pied. Facile à trouver, quartier plutôt tranquille et stations de métro proches. Toutefois, chambre double hélas très petite, sans chaise, sans sèche cheveux comme présenté sur le site, pas de gel douche et shampoing non plus, une bouilloire (très) sale, un carré douche sale également. Le tapis de bains retrouvé en boule trempé dans la douche (????). Enfin, une équipe d'accueil désorganisée, peu agréable et parfois totalement absente de la réception. Arrivée à l'hôtel à 15h, je monte dans ma chambre.... aspirateur par terre, chambre pas faite du tout. Dans les escaliers, pendant 4 jours, aspirateur et balais sont restés posés... Rapport qualité / prix pas intéressant du tout. Nous aurions préféré, pour le même ordre de prix, loger dans un hôtel propre.

Appena arrivati ce la siamo visti davvero brutta: non ci hanno sistemati al Melville, bensì all'Albion (sono diversi alberghi collegati) in una camera microscopica con il letto da una piazza e mezza addossato al muro da una parte e con 50 cm di spazio dall'altra occupati però da un "armadietto" e un "tavolino", bagno ancora più microscopico con soffione della doccia praticamente sopra al water! Non si può dire che fosse terribile quanto ad arredamento e pulizia, ma era come stare in un loculo, non ci si poteva muovere!! Sono scesa subito a lamentarmi e mi hanno detto che al momento erano pieni e il mattino dopo c'avrebbero cambiato stanza... Per fortuna così è stato, altrimenti avremmo dovuto cercare un altro posto e provare a farci rimborsare! La nuova era una camera normale, decisamente più vivibile e con un bagno decente, anche se devo dire che il lavandino, in entrambe le camere, era davvero troppo piccolo (forse un 20x30 cm). Non avevamo la colazione compresa, per cui non saprei valutarla; comunque in questa zona ci sono moltissimi locali per cui non è un problema farla fuori. La zona è davvero strategica, perchè da questa stazione si prende metro o treno e si arriva praticamente ovunque ed è ricca di negozi e locali dove mangiare.
