Not a 4 star hotel standard ”

The hotel looks good from the outside but the room was not so good. Bathroom tiles were chipped, water on the bath was slow and the room did not smell good. Receptionist was not knowled

A good location to get out of Hull in a hurry but about five miles outside the town centre with no shopping or other facilities nearby. Older style hotel with room for improvement to update furniture , fittings and all round facilities. Excellent staffs but lousy wifi facility in the rooms in fact no WiFi in our room. This is not what they said on the advert. It was shown on Agoda site £59 per room with b/fast included but when booked, the b/fast disappeared. We had to pay extra £11 per person at the hotel. Very misleading!!

Good location, room decor ok, some tv channels didn't work or had bad reception. Bathrooms in desperate need of updating! Englush breakfast was nice. Overall i think the rooms were over priced compared to similiar competitors.

This is a basic hotel which is in need of a serious makeover. However, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet and warm so if all you need is a bed for a couple of nights, it's fine.

Second stay in a week, not impressed”

Arrived to be told there was no record of a booking made with Agoda over 1 month ago, fortunately I had all of my confirmation paperwork with me. Told I was lucky as they had one or two rooms left. Having stayed here many times over the last 20 years, the place is getting very old now. We stayed here for 3 days earlier during this trip and had the booking for the second stay not been booked a month in advance we would have stayed elsewhere.... Bathroom was not clean, carpets were dirty in room. Wi-fi access was frustratingly almost non existent, probably because we were at the furthest point away from reception area. I travel to Hull several times a year on business from the US, I will not stay at the Mercure Grange again after this trip....Very disappointed

Good Standards”

We went only for a night stay and were not there for a longer time. But, the staff was good, easy check in and check out good rooms and parking free available.

there was a wedding on the time we checked in so I asked the receptionist if we could have a quiet room away from the noise and he obliged and we had a good nights sleep

Very friendly staff”

Good stay. The room was good with decent facilities but the bed was not a double, it was a 3/4 double bed. On checking out we got charged twice ( 1st time via this web site) and secondly at checkout. Rooms are better than Travelodge standard in our opinion but we would rather stay at the Travelodge for value for money.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff”

I found the staff friendly and helpful, Not from England so they were very useful in recommending what to choose from the menu. Rooms are clean and tidy but bathroom in need of upgrade.Hotel has a mixture of old sytle and modern, would be better it it were all modern, in my opinion. Also has nice gym and small pool.

All most satisfactory. We attended a wedding and everything was most enjoyable with lovely facilities throughout.
