Central City hotel”
The hotel was an ideal loctaion for this solo traveller for accessing the various sites in the city. The hotel room was a decent size with comfortable beds and a five minute walk from the main bus station where many of the day tours depart.

Facade needs upgrade but interiors is good. Noise can be a problem in the night as windows are not sound proof sensitive. Rooms were spacious and well made.

Good hotel, has a view over the river. really nice breakfast, including help yourself shots of Scottish whisky :D Room is not huge, small bathroom, but I guess we are dealing with European prices

The hotel has a lovely homley and cosy feel inside, great for coming back to after for cold rainy days exploring the stunning countryside or city. We felt really at home here very quickly. Please don’t judge it on what it looks like from the outside - you will missed a very well priced enjoyable stay which is perfectly positioned on the river in the centre of Inverness.

Good location near train station Simple rooms , clean . Prices vary so take care booking And check breakfast included I booked as site showed breakfast…when we arrived it was not and cost £11 each per day

Centrally located, otherwise underwhelming ”
Old property but great location, stone's throw away from bus station and railway station and major restaurants and shopping street. But the room isnt that great, bathroom was really small and dimly lit. Its fine for corporate travels only. Limited and repeated breakfast menu. I have ztayed at better Mercure hotels in Europe. Friendly staff.

One plus is a location. It is in the heart of old town. Room is small, hair from previous guest were in the bathroom over sink and shelf. Room wasn’t clean on the second day of my stay ((( Very upset with such poor service.

Interesting Inverness”
We arrived in a snow blizzard and our room was just lovely and warm with very very comfortable beds (and I'm fussy) together with all the mod cons and a lift to all floors - we also enjoyed a very hearty and varied breakfast with plenty of it! All the staff were really friendly, courteous and helpful . Although the hotel doesn't look like a castle it is large with big open rooms and nice natural light from huge windows facing the river and mountain vista .......:::. I would stay here again if returning to Inverness.

Perfect locatoin”
Great location in the middle of Inverness, close to bus station & train station. Plenty of shops and restaurants around the hotel. Professional and well trained staff who thoroughly explained hotel and options. Good bar and restaurant - the later has a nice view of the river. Double room was good. Desk, big modern tv, comfortable bed. Bathroom was good with hot shower with good water pressure. Wifi was good. Negatives: High room price which didn't include breakfast. From the room could hear doors closing loudly in corridore and people having conversations, thus not the best sound insulation. No fridge in the room.

the hotel is 100 m to the station and very very central. Inverness is a beautiful town. We visited a restaurant called Mustard Seed which is 2 mins walk from the hotel - amazing place. we got a river view room which was amazing! the view is to die for! the rooms are massive with very comfortable bed. requires a bit of upgrading in terms of lighting in the room and control systems. our hot water was also not working on day 1 but got fixed soon after. the walk around River Ness is beautiful!

very friendly & helpful staff. good sized room with a nice big bed. my husband is 6'2" and there was plenty of room in there for both him and i. tea & coffee facilities in the room and breakfast in the morning was very good, buffet style but loads of choice between continental & cooked. if you want a quiet room i would suggest a room with a river view, we stayed on a saturday & the room we had faced the street. there was the expected noise from revellers but the bed was so comfy i really didn't care. it's in a good position for the bars & restaurants in inverness plus the shopping & touristy things.

We had a very enjoyable, comfortable stay at this hotel. We were just having a short break and wanted a hotel that was in the centre of town and, more importantly, comfortable with leisure facilities. There was a swimming pool and steam room (which we used and appreciated) as well as a gym area (which we didn't use). Staff were friendly and helpful. We would stay here again on a return visit to Inverness.

Checked in and needed an extra bed as 3 were travelling. As we arrived late at night, the duty-manager/staff offered us an extra single room at a nominal charge that would have cost the same as an extra bed. Totally made our day as we were exhausted from a very long journey. Hotel had many facilities such as car parks, fitness centre, sauna, jacuzzi, pools (which we didnt use) but was offered. Staff were very attentive and polite and helpful, telling u everything u would need to know. Room was very good. Clean, tidy, no odours, toilets were very clean also. ONLY one gripe. As it is a city hotel, the side that faces the main road gets noisy easily when drunk people cause nuisance in the middle of the night and in the morning when cars go past, an external factor that can hardly be blamed on the hotel. So when making your booking, try to request for a river-facing room.
