it was just 5 minutes walk away from the southwark underground station. Room was so quiet and clean. Also decorated so modern and lovely. there are restaurants and markets around. Breakfast has all kinds of food, everything you need. Just loved this hotel.

Close to The Globe Theatre”
A pleasant walk to and from The Globe. Loads of restaurants around. Comfortable bed and pillows. Excellent hot shower. Really good value for money. Staff so friendly and hotel clean. We'll definitely be back when we need to be in that part of London again.

This hotel is in a nice location with the entrance looking straight at the SHARD. Few restaurants and bars around but would liked to have got it seem more advice at check in of things to do and places to eat in area it’s clean and nice but the little bit extra makes the difference if you have been offered.. would stay here again

Great location and great service”
we really enjoyed our stay at the mercure london bridge hotel and we were not disapointed after reviewing the hotel on the website. it is well situated close to all amenities and attractions and we were very pleased with the warm welcome and excellent service from the hotel staff. the rooms were clean and functional and although we thought they would be small the rooms were intelligently designed to make the most of limited space. the hotel has a nice gym and the bed was comfortable and the room offered many useful amenities such as satelite tv, iron and ironing board and hairdryer and mini bar. our only ctiicism was that it was expensive to eat in the hotel and breakfast was not included.

- walking distance from london bridge and southwark underground (tube) station on the jubilee line. - person can avail underground from heathrow terminals on picadilly line and change at green park underground to jubilee line to reach the hotel. - excellent and smiling staf to great you at the hotel. - excellent service. - decent breakfast but no change in the menu, though. - small yet good rooms - reasonably priced.

Excellent stay near public transport & Tate Modern”
Excellent place to stay, though its a little pricey. Bed was very comfy and I slept like a baby for all 4 nights of my stay. Breakfast needs improve though, especially the Hot section will need more varieties. The staff at the restaurant were the best! Extremely friendly and helpful, made me feel like a star! Location - walking distance to Tate Modern, and 8-10mins stroll to Southwark Tube station which connects to other stations in Central London, one of the best modern transport system which is clear and easy to comprehend. It is also located near to London eye, London Pier where u can take a River Cruise along the Thames river, but do check for times slot and book your ticket in advance though. One thing to add - suggest to pre-book a Taxi from Heathrow airport to this Hotel (approx. GBP44-50 via 247 Airport Transfer, one of the best private transport service!) if there's two of you and 2 x big luggage because public transport will be same in price, but the latter will be inconvenient due several change over from Express Train + Tube + Bus and staircases

Ideal Location, lovely clean rooms and good food”
Check in was fast and frienly. Room was on 7th (top)floor with a balcony. Room was furnished to a high standard with good facilities. One downside was nowhere to hang wet coats, boots to dry as it was snowing during our stay. Breakfast selection was top class and help yourself service. Had some niggles with the door entry swipe card which was inconvienient. The staff are very frienly and helpful. Location is great for the London Bridge, Tate, Saint Pauls area. Tube station is only 10 min walk. I would well reccomend it.

Great hotel and service with a smile”
The roomes had plenty of room, very clean and well equipped. The staff at the reception was always very helpful, smiling always. It's about 8-10min walk from the London Bridge tube, there's a number of good restaurants right opposite as well as a Simply M&S where you can get a lot of stuff to drink and eat.

Nice and clean hotel, but not the best location”
My wife and I stayed at the Mercure London Bridge at the beginning of January this year. I thought being just behind the Tate Modern would be a great location, but I didn't realise when I booked that the hotel isn't really that close to any useful tube stations. The area around it is also a bit businessy, and is lacking in atmosphere. Other than the location, the hotel itself was clean and comfortable.

the interior of the hotel was decorated and named with the land marks in london, which is quite interesting for tourists. not to mention the staffs are very helpful, high standard services, definitely worth it.

Great Location! ”
This was a good place to stay - it is minutes from the South Bank - Tate Modern, Globe, South Bank Centre. Opposite there is a Marks and Spencer - so if the weather is nice - breakfast can be bought and eaten with a Starbuck coffee on the banks of the Thames. I am a Londoner born and bread and wanted to spend a few days with my wife in the best city in the world. The hotel was well designed and not TOO expensive, the reception area is innovative and we felt the staff were attentive and well trained. All in all a pleasant stay.

nice location but it's under reconstrution”
my boyfriend and i always stay at this hotel when we goto london. if you're an art lover it's perfect as the tate modern is only about 5 minutes away. the area is very convenient with shops, cafes, restaurants and etc. closest tube station would be either borough or southwark station. we've always satisfied with the experience there however, when we go this time, we weren't been informed that they're under refurbishment. which is not a big deal but the staff at the alternative check in place weren't very helpful. couldn't get my booking for a while which has never happened before. the room is also bit different as it seems to be on the other side of the buidling, very different from our previous experience. overall i would still recommend it but only with my previous stay experience.
