Not the cleanest stay ”
The room was £110 to sleep in a room the size of a cupboard, hole in my bed sheet, dirty foor and splash’s of things on the walls , bed , heater didn’t work and I was cold all night , I will not be going back . Breakfast was nice though .

Great Position ”
Good clean hotel in the heart of the city night life at great value for money. Would advise better understanding of parking arrangements though. It does say parking but as we found out its in the Lace Market Car Park around the corner we know Nottingham well and know the one way system but out of towners would struggle. But overall very good

Convenient hotel in City ”
i decided to stay here because it is in the city and Mercure has a good name. The hotel is nice and in a good area. The place is very clean with a small gym. The breakfast was delicious.

Great location ”
great location with discounted car parking my friend and I stayed for one night and were booked into a small room however this was very small and wouldn't recommend it for couples and only single travelers however we called down to reception and the sorted out with a bigger room straight away of which we were very happy with staff were all friendly and the hotel Room was lovely and clean with little touches as ear plugs and docking station would definatly stay here again but would make sure we booked standard double room or bigger

I had a stunning stay here. There was courteous staff, great breakfasts, and great rooms. The location of the hotel is right in the city's shopping area. Great restaurants in walking distance, and bus stop is just in front.

Really nice hotel with newly refurb rooms. Couple of cons though, check in time of 3pm?? Ridiculous..... 2pm is bad enough Shower in room took an age to heat up and the shower hose was faulty. Other then that had a nice stay and is bang in the middle of town so couldn't be any more central.

Great value and location ”
Small room but didn't need any more than this for an overnight stay. Very clean. Staff very polite. Couldn't have asked for more really. Floors a little squeaky but what more can you expect from a building so old? Ear plugs provided if it's a problem but it wasn't a problem for us

just short in the details ”
Everything could have been excellent, dressing gowns in the room badly stained, and some cleaning detail, toilet seat wouldn't stay up, but all in all great value at the promotional price I paid, staff couldn't have been more helpful on reception

Broken air-conditioning made it impossible to sleep well”
Good central location, close to everything, but the lack of air-conditioning considering the name is disappointing, especially with the current heatwave in the UK. Was more tempted to just hang out at the local Sainsburys around the corner than in my hotel room for most of the afternoon and evening. We were provided with a small table fan when we complained about the lack of A/C despite the A/C unit in the room, and the fan is barely strong enough to blow a breeze from the table to the bed. Windows do not open much to let in air, so the room was stifling hot and we could not sleep. On top of that, the bathroom door handle kept coming off and the extractor fan in the bathroom either doesn't exist or doesn't work. Not the staffs' fault, but wouldn't stay again for the price. Other info: Early check-in cost is £10 for those who wants to know, and they will also validate your car park ticket at NCP Stoney Street Car Park to get you discounted car park for 24 hours.

Great Location”
Great central location, decent comfortable room with tea and coffee making facilities etc. Breakfast was superb. The only thing letting it down is the slow responsive staff but I would stay again without hesitation due to the good qualities.

Exceptional”
We had a wonderful night's stay here. Only thing the walls were too thin and we could hear clearly what people outside were talking about/doing. Otherwise great location, we were a stone throw away from the malls and Christmas Market.
